  1. I'm interested. 4 previous DC summits and an ID early spring/late winter. 3608880038
  2. Hey there! Looking to do some climbing this summer. Just finished a summit of Aconcagua in February and would like to keep climbing strong through the summer. Have 5 previous Rainier summits (mainly DC/ID) but am down for something different too. Have a 60m dry cord and splitboard if you want to do some back country stuff (assuming there's anything decent still around). Volcanoes are always fun. No major ice/rock pro other than a picket but have a little bit of WI experience (I have all the gear except for pro) and can handle 5.9 sport/trad without a problem. 360-888-0038, but I won't be reactivating my phone until I get back from Thailand in a few days so it is best to contact me via CascadeClimbers. P.S. No car/based out of Cap Hill in Seattle.
  3. Hey there! Going to be in Chamonix from March 22 until March 29 and I'm looking to do a bit of climbing. Have my Split Board for ski mountaineering with me as well as my dry cord and a pair of tools. Bit of a technical novice and I have no real pro other than a picket, but am very solid with glaciers. Am thinking of soloing/ski mountaineering the Gouter or Grand Mulets on Blanc but am open to all sorts of ideas.
  4. Possible I'll be there. Going to be traveling for a while so my schedule is fairly flexible. Was planning on Chamonix in April but it might work out for me to be there a bit later. More likely late March or April.
  5. Hey there! Getting ready for a solo attempt on Aconcagua in February. As such I will be up on Mt. Rainier chilling at Muir for 3 weeks or so in January; will probably go for a few summit attempts. I've led a couple of summits on the mountain including an Ingraham Direct a few winters ago. Anyone want to meet up and have some fun? I'll be training skills and working out a good bit too if anyone has a big climb coming up and wants to get into shape. Just let me know when you think you'll be up at Muir and I'll keep the stove warm for ya. P.S. Will be taking a couple of days down at a cabin middle of those 3 weeks to get some work done via internetz so if you want to try for a summit just try to make sure you don't pick the same dates I go down to Ashford. 3608880038
  6. I've got a bunch of free time until February 1. Might be a pain for me to get up to CA but if I can snag a rideshare or something I'd be down for some ice climbing. Fairly new to it but I didn't have much trouble with a few pitches of WI3. 3608880038. Also have a splitboard but no skis.
  7. Hey there! I'm looking to do some climbing to prep for Aconcagua/Mt. Blanc/Matterhorn/(Maybe Elbrus?) in Spring. Pretty open availability right now and have all gear + rope for everything but trad and ice. Definitely down to do both of those. Hoping to spend a lot of time on Rainier for the acclimation. I've climbed several Rainier routes (5 summits), Hood/Adams/etc, Kilimanjaro, and have a bit of ice/trad/sport experience. Training at Vertical World in Seattle right now if you want to meet up. 360-888-0038.

  9. Was thinking about Baker. I'd be looking for a day push though.
  10. No chance of leaving later Friday evening/Saturday morning? I'd like to join but would have to climb straight through Friday night to catch up (unless you're leaving earlier).
  11. Hey there! Looking for some partners for a Rainier bid next week Tuesday-Thursday (August 5-7). Been up about 4 times and have various other summits/volcanoes under my belt. Have gear/rope/training. 360-888-0038.
  12. I'm down. I have Tuesday-Thursday available. 360-888-0038.
  13. Going up tomorrow. Have rope + 4 previous summits. 360-888-0038.
  14. Hey there! Looking for anyone interested in climbing Rainier this Tuesday-Thursday. I've summited 4 times and have glacier rescue training. I would be down to look at any of the currently viable routes and have gear/rope. 3608880038.
  15. Hey man! I've got mostly glacier experience, but a bit of ice/trad/sport as well if you want to do some climbing this summer. I could probably lead a 5.8, and have glacier gear/rope. 3608880038.
  16. Hey man! Down for whatever in your time frame ; I've got gear/rope/4 Rainier summits.
  17. Hey There! Anyone down for heading up to Rainier either tomorrow night or early Wednesday and finishing up by Thursday evening? 360-888-0038.
  18. Hey There! Looking to get some elevation this weekend with the hopefully nice weather. Thinking Rainier, Hood, or Adams. Possibly down to check out Jefferson or Baker. 360 888 0038. Also down for shwateva at the lower altitudes.
  19. Looking for an efficient two person tent that can handle extreme conditions. Let me know if you have a Jannu you're trying to get rid of or something similar.
  20. Might be a day climb instead. Avy doesn't look horrible; considerable but slabs are on the North East/ East faces.
  21. Hey there! Anyone interested in an early evening Hood attempt? Passing through the neighborhood for business and have a climbing window from about 6 PM Saturday evening to 8 AM Sunday morning. Would hope to possibly be done by 2 or 3 AM if possible. 360-888-0038. Hit me up!
  22. Might be going up to Muir on Rainier tomorrow afternoon for a day or two. Would be down for a summit attempt if someone wants to join, depending on the conditions (wind/visibility look iffy). Totally down for something else if someone has a better idea. Can follow WI 3 and 5.9. 360-888-0038.
  23. Going up tomorrow, looks like there might be a weather window Saturday for a summit if anyone feels like joining me. Otherwise I'll just be training up at Muir. Not going to have a rope on me, FYI. I've got 3 summits, 2 on DC and 1 on ID, and am okay with Crevasse Rescue. If the weather is bad and you just want to practice some pulleys or prusiks I'm totally down. Ask around for Nick.
  24. I've got a buddy here from South Carolina who's looking to summit, we turned around on Saturday when we saw the weather moving in. 1 414 690 2621 is his number.
  25. Thinking about trail running Si if the forecast doesn't improve.
