  1. Hey Brandon... Having forgotten about Glacier....just trying to sort out my travel Schedule while in WA. You're definitely climbing Baker at the END of the month, yes? Julie
  2. Hey, the Coleman-Deming route? I'd be up for it ...if you're willing to take on an inexperienced climber. I've been looking for guided trips/training (in early Sept) so I can get some solid training under my belt, but would be happy to save on cost if you're willing to do some training. Also most of the schools shut down mid-August. I'm an experienced backpacker, in good shape, and dying to get myself up that peak. Probably another w/experience would serve us well.
  3. Working in Minnesota on the 20th...so probably not workable. Bummer. Thanks, Dave.
  4. Back in WA for a while and would love to summit one of my favorite peaks. I'm in good shape, a regular backpacker -- some backcountry skiing, but don't have any crevasse training. If you(s) are experienced and willing to do a little training and summit with someone lacking experience, I'd happily compensate you. Not to mention, provide fabulous company.
  5. I would love to summit Rainier (or Glacier Peak?) sometime Sept 4-15. However, I too lack the necessary crevasse skills, and overall have done minimal climbing. Plenty of hiking, and some backcountry skiiing. Probably some real training would benefit me -- can anyone recommend an affordable way to go about that? Or, I'd be glad to compensate anyone for "private lessons" if you're willing to take on someone w/less experience.
  6. Kyle--are you still up for company on St. Helens on Sept 7th?
  7. Hey all -- Is Adams still a possibility in Sept? I'm looking to climb Adams...or maybe Glacier Peak in early-mid September. May dates somewhat flexible Sept 5-17. I've plenty of backpacking/backcountry skiing, but minimal climbing experience..so would be happy to compensate to those willing to take on a somewhat newbie.
