  1. Purchased these I believe in 2012 and wore them once to find out they were a half size too small. Instead of returning/re-selling them I gave myself the impression that I would use them again. Fast forward now and selling them as good as new. Size 44.5 or US 11. Original Retail was $410. Here is a write-up I found online: This toasty warm technical mixed climbing boot sports an integrated gaiter and a Primaloft® lining. The Trango Prime has a thicker EVA layer underfoot and a more general mountaineering geared Vibram® Impact Brake System™ sole. This gives you more traction and cushion on more variable terrain in the mountains than the Trango Extreme EVO Light. Perfect for terrain that requires longer approaches but still requires an extremely technical mixed climbing boot. IDEAL TERRAIN: technical mixed climbing, ice climbing. LAST: Trango UPPER: Water repellant Schoeller®-Keprotech®/ Flex Tec 2/ Water-repellant Lorica® with Antiacqua™ external coating/ Vibram® rubber rand/ Schoeller®-Dynamic™ gaiter LINING: Primaloft®/ Waterproof barrier INSOLE: 9mm insulating Ibi-Thermo MIDSOLE: 6-7mm TPU/ Dual-density Micropore EVA SOLE: Vibram® Impact Brake System™ COLOR: Yellow/Black

  7. Yes, I am most likely going to be found under Chutzpah on Wikipedia. I called the owner just a few minutes ago and will be dropping them off at his work tomorrow, and I will DEFINITELY not expect, nor deserve, any reward whatsoever for I am by definition an ASS. I am humbler from this experience and hope this does not affect my ski/mountaineering karma to its fullest extent. To the owner of the skis, as well as his friends, I am absolutely sorry.
  8. Skiing off the Emmons-Winthrop Glacier yesterday and found a pair of skis deep in the snow. At first I thought they were abandoned/lost, but in retrospect I feel as if they may have possibly been stashed (which would make me a complete ass for taking them). In my defense I was exhausted, dehydrated, still very very poor, and in desperate need of new skis; so coming across these skis was like finding pizza beer and naked women at the end of an awesome summit. If anybody can claim these skis: Make, Model, Length, and Binding - then they are yours. Otherwise in ONE MONTH of this posting I am a happy camper. Additionally a reward of some sort would be greatly appreciated given (some of) the circumstances; hell, I had to pack them out for almost half the decent which put a big damper on my turns. Cheers!
  9. +2 for Cilogear. My friend sold me on purchasing a Cilogear pack last year due to its rugged durability. I got the most recent 45L and I have never been happier with a pack. It is a very simple worksack, yet very functional.
  10. Two used, but in complete working order BD Cobra Ice tools. One Adze, one Hammer. Scraped up a bit and may need picks to be slightly filed to new owner's liking, but they still get the job done (just used them on the Stuart Glacier Couloir last week). $300 o.b.o. for the pair. Usually $335 a piece brand new: what a steal! UPDATE-- Took 43 minutes to sell. Hate to sell them , but the money is much needed. --
