Thanks for the write up Rad. Definitely a great time, and thanks for talking me into hiking to the summit. I would have wussed out if you hadnt known the descent route so well. I think the first 4 pitches of this route would be pretty awesome with some traffic and although it would be hard to recommend the rest of the pitches, they're not bad and they get you to the top of a great peak with outstanding exposure and views. Does anyone know what type of rock Sloan is? Must be gniess?? The horizontal dyke features are really unique to anything else Ive seen in the cascades.

Yes! There is no supplement for a green alien. The master cams, and c3s came pretty close but aliens just seem so solid in little flares, pin scars, etc. Glad theyre back though I'll have to get get used to calling them Totems. Are the greens within the same range spec wise?

We've had good luck using someone to swing you in from the bottom. Hooks are also a very usful tool. Get ready for a good abb workout!
