Businesses take on additional debt for a variety of good reasons. Investing in efficiency, which reduces costs and/or increases revenue is one. If eliminating debt was always the best choice, then you should write a big fat check to your mortgage provider today. And some businesses take on too much debt and become insolvent. As noble as keeping up with the Jones' is (or Chens' in this case), a high speed train isn't a necesity.

Steve Vai's greatest commercial success came when he caught Coldplay ripping him off. Sure he's a good guitarist but he sucks otherwise, just being able to play the guitar isn't enough to make great music. I had a friend in highschool who was an aspiring musician and would play his stuff all the time and say "listen to this, can you believe how good he is..." I didn't have the heart to tell him how awful Steve Vai was to anyone who wasn't trying to learn to play the guitar.

I have never used the Goal0 but I think you could build your own for a lot less. Also, if I were making my own I'd use a thin film panel (instead of chrystaline) so that I didn't have to worry about damaging the panel packing it.

In addition to the neoprene waste cinches the Igniter only has a single front zipper. I think you can add plastic cinches but you're stuck with the single zipper unless you have the jacket altered. Overall I like the Igniter, its a heavy jacket though.

I have a pair of Petzl crampons that I don't think fit all that well on my Nepal Evo's because of the shape of the sole. They don't wiggle or rattle and are tight but you can see they do not match the curve of the sole. I've looked into the Asym bars but they're $45.
