  1. It's cool thanks. I most certainly won't be getting fat at this rate.
  2. Wicked Jealous! I logged 15+ Miles and 5800' gain for all of 500' of linked turns and a boatload of downhill road skiing on a exploratory adventure. I gotta get sled access. Nice Pics. Thanks for rubbing in the reality of my folly.
  3. Heard you boys pounding away from Olympus ledge over Labor Day. Nice to see others on the South Side. Looks like a nice route. Good work gentlemen.
  4. Or non climbing related trips from tropical locales? I can actually see TR's from out of state/country when there is climbing involved.
  5. Agreed, the tunnel creek story was well done in my opinion. The crystal video is more timely and offers some good lessons. Overall both are good reminders for all of us that enjoy such activity.

    Everest

Super cool photo. I was asked if I was interested in going to/climbing Everest recently and I responded that I have really never had an interest in Everest considering all the beautiful challenging things to do here in the US (Alaska included) minus the cost and crowds. Looking at this photo and the mess that is Everest Base camp only confirms my feelings, what a zoo that looks like. Quite the opposite of what draws me out of doors.
  7. Gene - I sense a bit of cranky from you today. You need to get out and come play in the cold my friend.
  8. Nice work, that can be a grueling haul in the deep. Ivan speaks the truth.
  9. And very few of these lines have had first descents yet. Some real opportunities for bold skiers. YIKES! I have been on the Sidewalk in Winter with terrible snow conditions and a warming trend. That was one of THE scariest things I have ever done. I will pass on a repeat of any of that nonsense!
  10. Keep up the good work and thanks!
  11. Hey Jon FYI I have been using IE9 today to access the site and have had none of the previous issues. I don't know if you made changes but thought I would let you know.
  12. As of this morning you could drive to the Ruth Mt. TH with 4wd. The Winchester road can be driven with 4wd to about 3200' and 4 or so miles from the lakes.
  13. Ridiculous...on both sides.
  14. Oh yeah, duh. Apologies. And no.
  15. Nope no (minimal) Unix here. Line of Business stuff. Very Boring. Birds of a feather. And well yeah IE, it is MS right?
  16. Not all in IT are developers some just do lowly old system admin work etc. But yeah, you are correct I am a dick, you got me there. Good luck on your project.
  17. No kidding right? I thought the same thing when I read that this morning. Us IE users are scum! Really man? As someone that works in the IT field I must say it is this kind of condescending attitude that makes those who require our services hesitant to do so. I realize this is a free site but with all the effort to make it fresh. new and user friendly you think you could handle the feedback in a constructive manner rather than react like a middle school brat. 15 eye rolls? Get a f***ing sense of humor. Jesus.
