  1. Anyone on the Northern Oly Peninsula interested in getting/staying fit this winter? Please contact me, I'm in Port Townsend, have a decent bouldering wall and am looking for motivated, positive minded people to train/climb with. I'd like to establish a weekly evening session, if anyone already has something like this going on please let me know. A.
  2. I'm going to be in Squamish June 18th-27th. Life happens, plans change, I'm now looking for solid partners who are motivated to do longer free climbs in the 5.10+ to 5.12 range. I'm more then happy to lead my share of the crux pitches and then some but please understand that I do have the expectation of completing routes in reasonable times and in good style. If any of this sounds good please let me know, hopefully we can work out the details and tick off some of the longer classic lines. Thanks, Aaron three 6 zero 7 seven 4 fifteen sixty-2
  3. The recent implementation of full body scanners rendered my advise of stuffing your chalk baggies in your bum worthless. Sorry I couldn't have been of more help buddy.
  4. Your "point" is pointless, it depends on who is climbing it.
  5. Hi, I'm looking to buy some climbing wall holds. Anyone out there have some they'd be interested in selling? Could also use t-nuts and bolts. Please let me know. Thanks
  6. I did it 6 or 7 years ago and I remember it as straightforward. Not at all difficult just long, it's all about pacing yourself. If you can't maintain a viable pace in good style then you're doomed.
  7. I've spent several seasons in Mex. in the past and always loved it. Fly to Monterrey for sure, take a cab or bus to Hidalgo, it's less then an hour away. It's a mellow walk from town to the entrance of the Potrero where the camping and rentals are, you'll probably get a ride from passing climbers anyway. Once there, no need to have a car. The weather will be fine, year to year it can be chilly or hot but always climbable. It's a great place, easy to find partners as finding partners goes. The food is great, market day in town twice a week, tons of fresh food and cheap. I always brought a water filter down with me. Most people were not filtering and thought I was crazy. I figured it was a worth while precaution. Bring a full 60m rope and a couple first fulls of draws and you're set for gear.
