  1. I would like to buy a $10 stove along with the repair kit, bottles and whatever you can spare. I'll try to buy the pump locally.

I would love to have one of your ice axes 65cm please.

Also, if you have a spare pole for the hexamid, I would appreciate that. I have a bunch of hexamid copies, that it could be used with.

    thanks

  2. bummer...

one suggestion: call REI Santa Monica, CA. I think they still have them for $15, find out how much is shipping... you might still save $10 over list price....

ps: did you ask the guy to check the other near by REIs?

SC Hiker- yeah I went to my REI they didnt have them- what a bummer it was. Said they could order them but it was still full price :/

    Thanks!

  3. Yes that is it! Thanks for the link. I have a local buyer interested, so boots are off the market for now.

I think that may have been my thread:

mnteering boot advise for a noob

    bump--these boots are great!

I ended up going with that boot and have to say have been incredibly happy with it. My feet sweat, rubber boots or sandals, so I haven't found them to be problematic in the least for summer climbs, and they kept my feet warm with some thicker than normal wool socks during that specific cold snap in december on hood. The show almost no wear either after a season of use. i'm very happy with the trend in how they are holding up.
