  1. Don’t get me wrong, obviously glad you are alive. Lesson learned, shall we open it up for spray… This was decked from the start. If your geeked why not except it and retreat, it’s cool to be metro these days. Looks like plenty of places to bust a nut below the overhang no? I’m kind of a linear thinker, but it seems silly to leave the earth without a good idea where your first few pieces are going. Everyone falls, sometimes a strawberry results in a lot jazz over some loose rock, other times it makes you think if you should get back to TR’in sevens..
  2. Completely random, found the toon one day. Not really sure what there talking about… Guess I though he was a good representation of my goofy ass. Plus his wife is smokin.
  3. I found this mildly funny and figured I’d pass it on to all you pirate fans. http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=210905&title=The-Buccaneer-Stops-Here
  4. Nice http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/843329/TR_Mt_Hood_Leutholds_Attempt_1#Post843329
  5. Poor climbing style aside, any beta on a local resoler.
  6. Any tips on a cheap and easy fix? Thanks
  7. Steep and cheap periodically has arc'teryx coats for sale up to 60% off.
  8. I certainly have found it difficult to find a mentor that is willing to take the time to teach. It’s perhaps difficult to climb down to someone’s level long enough to pass on the “art”. As a result, ignorance leads to sticky situations for the inexperienced climber.
  9. I’m new, but isn’t this spray by now…. Bums on the rack. Don’t leave goods in the car, there are a lot of opportunistic people in this world. Enough said….
  10. I’m going to be in the Hood area tomorrow. Anyone headed to French’s Dome or Salmon Slab that wants to let a n00b tag along.
  11. I’m getting sick of alpine scrambles, and am looking to get into technical alpine and rock climbing. I have yet to find a knowledgeable partner, so I figured I would give this a go. I live and go to school in Corvallis. If you’re in the area, need a belay slave and don’t mind showing a beginner the ropes let me know. Thanks
