Coming down from Vancouver, BC and just found out that permits are required via online booking (was initially told by friends that permits were picked up down there the day before the hike, but the procedure seems to have changed). This is the ONLY weekend we can do the hike (been wanting to see Mt. St. Helens for years). Can anyone help out? Will also consider 9/14/08.
