I'm driving to Yosemite on Oct 14th (maybe the evening of the 13th). I'm looking to share gas. Anyone headed that way?

I'm thinking of heading to Europe and traveling across northern Italy into Switzerland and northern France in June and July. Can anyone recommend guide books in English for their favorite trad or alpine areas in this region? I was thinking of going to the Dolomites, Val di Mello, and Chamonix. Are there any other can't miss spots along the way? Thanks, Alex

I'm wondering if there are any other women out there who are up for spending a chunck of time climbing or backcountry skiing. I've got plenty of time and am happy to stay local or travel anywhere by car or plane. I'm into moderate trad climbing and prefer multi-pitch to cragging. I also splitboard and would be up for some winter mountaineering. PM if interested and we can talk more about details. Cheers, Alex
