  1. I have a new, w/o tags Patagonia ultralight down hoodie. $215 includes shipping to the lower 48 states. The color is dark Blue (midnight) and the size is large. Normally goes for $299. text or call 307-760-7477
  2. Trip: Lookout Mt. Lookout - Date: 12/8/2012 Trip Report: Two friends and I went up to Lookout Mt. Lookout for the weekend. We were excited to get into the mountains as two of us have had little break for fun in the last month or two. The large amounts of snow and low temps made for some great down hill skiing and some horrific skinning. With so much un-consolidated snow it took us much longer to get to the lookout than we had anticipated. We got to the TH at 9:15, left the car at 9:30 @ 1,300 ft. We were skinning at 2,000 ft. The ~5 miles and 4500 ft that has taken snowshoers 4 hours took us almost 9. Two of us have been there before and we were on route the whole time. We took turns breaking trail and becoming exhausted, skied into the dark and arrived at ~6:30. We ate, drank and were in bed by 8:30. We ran two three laps on Lookout on Sunday and headed down. The descent took two hours. Gear Notes: Avi gear, skis Approach Notes: Park a few miles up Cascade River Road
  3. Trip: Le Petit Cheval - Spontaneity Arete Date: 6/17/2011 Trip Report: Climbed this with some friends a few weeks ago, really fun. In my opinion "a good beginners alpine rock climb" except for the decent, which was a little trickier than what you might label at a beginners level. Here's a link to the pictures and description: http://www.mountainproject.com/v/le-petit-cheval/107213168
  4. $300 + shipping. I have an Exped (outdoor research) Andromeda II tent that I have only set up in my yard. It is a 4-season 2-4 person tent. Light weight for montaineering or backpacking, LARGE vestibule. The body does not have to be used with the fly, for reduced weight. I have added longer p-cord to all the important anchor points. 100% good condition. I have never seen a more versatile tent, I would prefer it over the mountain hardware trango. I need to get rid of it so I can buy my girlfriend a bike,. I bought it new 2 years ago for $600, I would like $300 for it but best offer might do. http://www.altrec.com/exped/andromeda-ii-2-person-tent thanks, Andy 307-760-7477

I think that I would prefer it over the mountain hardware trango. I need to get rid of it so I can buy my girlfriend a bike, probably more useful to me, so trades for a 54' road bike might be possible. 10. I am looking for someone to do some occasional backcountry skiing with me this winter, along with some skiing at Baker. I am in bellingham and have weekends free email me for more info at atfarley@yahoo.com
  11. A friend and I are looking to climb Liberty Bell on sat. May 24. A ski-snowshoe in and ski-snowboard out, with a climb of the "Beckey Route" in ht middle. We may start early from the car Sat. morning or bivy somewhere below the gully. Is there any other group with knowledge of this route who might want to make this a 2-team excursion? if so let me know @ atfarley@yahoo.com Thanks, Andy
  12. A buddy and I are thinking of doing the beckey route on LB memorial day weekend. I Have been looking at Beckey's guide book for the Beckey route, the climb seems strait forward but the descent on the topo confuses me. Anyone have a good escription of how to get from the summit to the RAP station? and I know there is alot of snow, and getting there shouldnt be any trouble for us, but does anyone know what the conditions might be on route? thanks
