  1. What the fuck is the issue with that? I agree its sort of funny to see people walking around with a mug but it makes SENSE to not be using single use containers.

  4. There is another potential route just to the east of the moonraker (never been up that). I have a couple shots of it: There is a bolt (pretty sure) to the left of the crack, and we found slings and fixed (?) ropes on the approach, the buttress that this is on is the backside of the exchamsiks wall.
  5. Hey I am curious if anyone here has ever seen or heard any word about this feature on the Ecstall river I found the other night playing on google earth. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/287041 Pretty sweet south facing wall if you ask me... I worked one summer at a BC Hydro generation facility and there were lots more awesome featured walls out there, but nothing that large that I saw on the flight in. matt cooper
  6. I recently found a pair of koflach superpipes at my local salvation army and picked them up for $5.35, needing a pair of welted boots to mate to some borrowed crampons to try to work an approach out for a climb. On my first day out in them, I found that the laces were frozen solid, so I cut them off just wanting to be out of the boots. I am curious if anyone has any recommendations for laces that wont freeze, it seems sort of crazy that these boots which seem pretty skookum otherwise would have laces that freeze. Not used to laces freezing on my snowboard boots - but maybe there is reasoning behind using the cheesy skinny laces. Still a steal for $5.35 !! thanks matt
