For whatever its worth Im the original seller of all this gear on craigslist.first off I didnt know c.c. had a "yard sale " page or I would have come here first.Alpinsanity told me I might see this gear here. I see its all here. oh well, as long as the gear ends up with someone who's happy to get it at a resonable price it must be all good.on craigslist Alpinsanity was the first to offer to buy all the gear at my asking price I was happy to sell it.if he makes a few bucks resaling it no harm done. 13. Hey Josh Thanks for the day out there! It was a real bonus on the season. Source Lake line what a classic!!
  14. There is 2 great deep water boulder problems at exit 38 on perfect rock! A mid 5.10 traverse and an 11+( start out on traverse then go up). Its inbetween the dams, A real nice area when its hot.
  15. This may be of no concern to anybody or everybody has already seen this, but all this reading about slipstream made me think of this old vhs video I used to have and probably havent watched in a decade . So I went searching in my closet an low and behold found it and worked great.A video production of the first accent of slipstream. Just as awsome and inspiring today as ever. Some of the clips are funny, to watch John L. hacksaw the tip of his icetool then start filing on it preparing for the accent. Probably most of the climbing shots are not real and are staged but some of the clips are definitely real. You do get to see closeup shots of the old tools in action! I would be happy to share this vid with anyone who may have interest. If you know how to make a copy and treat my copy like gold then no problem. happy climbing
  16. Thank you Wayne. fun fun fun route is in great shape today, totally dry gear was not the best in this section though another fun option is to go up the slab then stay on slab out right to a fun topout.it can be seen out right on first photo thanks again Wayne
  17. this may be a longshot, weather may not be the best, but if someone is interested. I did chair last mon. on the way out there I saw the ice feature you would see at the top of the basin high and left. pretty steep 50meter pitch.I dont know the name.I would be into hiking out there early to see if conditions are still good. would be into leading or belaying a lead, maybe go around alltogether. I think the high at the pass today was 38, not bad. I have included a photo I took back in the mid 90s. Its from a print sorry for low quality. The route is a little fatter now.
  18. If anyone is interested in going to exit 38 Tue 27th I would be up for it. I went there last Sat and it was all good. I will admit the forcast is for possible rain in the late afternoon but Im up for starting early. Thanks
  19. I was in Banks today only for a job no play. Got a photo of the Cable. More rock climbing then years past and also lots of water coming off the route.
  20. I would be into going to exit 38 tomorrow. To the ice crag on the right you see when heading east near the onramp back onto the highway. I dont know the name of the place but it looked good 2 days ago. 253 315 1860
