Goatboy I agree...that is a very fast pace...3 miles an hour on a level surface for 30 miles is a good pace. Ed

Thanks for the great pictures. I plan on doing this hike in Sept...you noted that crampons were not necessary...what about the ice ax? Where do you originate from...and what trail did you follow....thanks Ed
