Epicwinter I could have written your post precisely about myself. I am fit, coming off the AAI 6day mountaineering course, experienced hiker with little alpine experience - but I am keenly looking for a partner or two to climb Rainier (or other peaks). I am trying to get my experience up. I will be in Seattle area July 21-25 after the course with the sole purpose of attempting to find a way up Rainier. Just done AAI mountaineering course, looking for any climbing with anyone for July21-25. Not too technical, but tough and big mountains is fine. Any number of nights. Share costs for any transport etc -anywhere closeish to Seattle. Just want to climb some mountains.
