  1. if the world judged us on the rape of an iraqi girl and killing of her and her family by american servicemen, or hell, mr bush, the world would have a pretty shitty taste in their mouth against us as well. that is a sad video though.
  2. glassgokissass, your right, you are not my type. my dog might do ya though.
  3. wow ken4ord, that was a most excellent executive summary.

my olympus 410 just broke. dont know how but it is toast. it did last two years though and the pics were very good. used it for skiing on cold days but you will for sure have to keep the battery warm if camping out and doing denali (assuming that is what you are interested in)
  5. seems like it is still undergoing some potty training though. but thanks. the TR section is better than any other web site out there. i even appreciate those that have been reported a bazillion times. its all good.
  6. nice! thanks for sharing. that is one big piece of choss. beautiful though...
  7. not to digress from talking about kev's lil boner, but do moderators get to sign the summit register first? that was some funny shit dechristo
  8. obviously gary, cc values your opinion. 13 pages worth. you should be honored.
  9. see kevbone, post pics like that and you might be moderator material. might. V for Victory!
  10. if you are ever way sketched at your limit and want to clip in fast, you will definitely appreciate a few sport draws. they dont have to be the stiffy dogbone variety, although they can be helpful for long reaches to bolts. i like some open loop type short draws, they are flexible and if you use one of those petzl rubber thingies, the bottom biner stays where you want it for when you need it. the big reason i like those is if you are french freeing anything you can stick your hand in the loop to grab on. not a big deal unless you are doin some serious gear pulling.
  11. i eat lots of non-good times shrooms. i would not eat this one.
  12. letsroll, i am kind of new here but been climbing nearly 40 years but i have learned the following cc.com rules: everyone here is an expert, unless you ask a question took too long to climb something (who tells this i have no idea) carry one or more pieces than the cc approved rack. you will only know what is too slow, or your rack too big once you post your TR. then the experts come out and they will tell you. if you ask too many questions, the experts will always ask you if you are really prepared and have the full range of expertise for the climb you are attempting. i havent quite got it figured out whether this is brotherly love for your own well being, or by insinuating your weakness it puts them one up on ya. have fun up there, i know a little snow is on the north faces, i dont suppose it is melting up high either...
  13. check wikipedia for moderator, "On some boards, moderators are expected to stay out of all contentious debates, or at least to use alternate accounts to engage in them unbeknownst to common members." and "Whimsical Self-Indulgence. From an important historic point of view, whimsical self-indulgence was once extremely common amongst those who were involved in the administration of internet forums and discussion boards. Narcissistic, undereducated and power-mad individuals, often with poor social and communication skills, would take it upon themselves to interfere with the postings and discussions of other board users, often using intimidating language and various threats including modifying, deleting or otherwise interfering with posts, threads and subjects. In the worst cases, a whimsically self indulgent moderator could threaten to delete another board user's account, regularly spending vast amounts of time trawling through old posts in a desperate attempt to prove to the board owner or community that their actions are somehow justified." so are there any mods practicing whimsical self-indulgence on here? or do they just do that at home while viewing other websites less family oriented? never mind that last question, i really dont need to know...

  18. kevbone, i heard that it is KEY, to play hard to get. dont act like you want it so bad. make some coy remarks about it. cuz after they've had you, you will feel like a used piece of meat. and they will be satisfied. but you'll be left wondering what you got yourself into...
  19. good on ya! snug as a bug!
  20. so minx. i was somewhat disapointed that the most special thing was deleted from the OS TR. garyY saying that we should evaluate TR's based upon the guidebook? this would fit well mr seagulls post. seriously though, didnt the mods get a bit ambitious with regards to cutting stuff out? the thing i liked about this place was the spirit and all. seems like if you guys go hogwild on deleting a bunch of stuff you are inflicting your views over everyone elses...
  21. remember, speed is safety. get through that workout fast to simulate an alpine environment...
  22. the only other rights besides 50 bills i got some familiarity with are: you gots the rite to remain silent....
  23. just curious. your telling me that if i own a piece of land and the government zones it so it costs me a million $, that is OK? shold the government be able to tell private landowners what they can do with their land even though it costs the landowner money? what happens if i own 5 acres with a house on it and they decide to zone it commercially and i can't live there anymore? do i have to sell it to corporate america? just curious. seems like the landowner can get screwed here for the betterment of society, the good of mankind and all that. of course our government is just looking out for the betterment of mankind and all that...
  24. i paid her 50 bills, but she still insisted on the condom...
