Hey everyone! Just a heads up that the 3rd Annual VertFest is this coming Saturday (Feb 28) at Crystal Mountain. If you haven't been to one, this is a good chance to come up and see what it is all about. Check out the website for more information: www.outdoorresearch.com/vertfest VertFest is all about having fun in the backcountry and helping to raise money for the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center. All proceeds are donated to Friends of NWAC. If you are new to backcountry skiing, or have never competed in a randonee race, come along anyway!! This race is about having fun, and is for people of all experience levels. There are tons of prizes to hand out, raffles, swag, free beer, and lots of fun to be had, and there is a rumor of new snow for the weekend, so don't miss it! See you there!
