  14. While mountaineering boots (ICE 9000s and Spantiks) never treated me poorly with some Spark bindings, I'm loving my TLT5 and Phantoms. So versatile, much lighter and rips. Spendy, YES, but worth every penny IMHO. There's ways to trim down the price point, so if you haven't given up on the split for your mountaineering objectives I'd suggest really considering that I option.
  15. Hey Pete, Might be relocating to CO in the near-term. If so, I'll have some extra pads we've held on to for loaners/car camping. Will let you know if we pull stakes. Currently shacking up in Woodland. Cheers
  16. PM sent on the Tremor pants (Windstopper soft shell).
  17. Some info at http://www.shredor.com/2014/05/5212014-mt-jefferson-west-rib.html We tried the Mill Creek drainage about a week after these guys and the water fall death traps were open much wider, nearly edge-edge of the drainage.
  18. Thanks for the reply CC. Seems a few folks have been poking around NSis, anybody been out the Western aspects of Jeff? Rolling up with climbing gear and splitboarding gear, guess we'll see what we find.
  19. Hoping some folks can chime in with current conditions in Jefferson, Three Sisters, and/or Thielsen Wildnerness areas. TIA
  20. Thanks for the beta, will be up there in a couple weeks.
  21. Used a MH King Tut -20 with single-wall tent in May/June, with never a cold night. If I had to make the choice again I would opt for something like the WM Lynx. But it sounds like similar options exist for less $ from FF.
