No worries, This about sums up what I heard from most people who went to Smith this weekend, although I heard Sunday was nice...
  2. Umm yes. Ride bikes less! Drive cars more! Burn more gas! Be more fat! Gasp! You might have to take your foot off the gas peddle for a second to pass a cyclist on the road! The horror! What ever will you do? The nerve of those horrible bike riding people, how dare they try to do something active for themselves so they can attempt to not be fat lazy slobs.
  3. Excellent, thanks so much guys. Sounds going light and bivying up high will be the way to go, which is what we planned... so sweet, thanks!
  4. Thanks everyone for the great info, AJ it's great to hear from someone who's done the linkup pretty easily... the main question is though, do you need an overnight permit to bivy there and is it too late to get one?
  5. Hmm, thanks for the info. Maybe going car-to-car is the way to go if it doesn't add on all that much hiking...
  6. We were thinking of Backbone/Fin Direct on Dtail and the usual North ridge on Stuart. No permit needed? Really? We were planning on bivying at Colchuck lake...
  7. My climbing partner and I were hoping to do Dragontail and Stuart in one weekend sometime this season. The permit thing is way confusing, what's the beta? Is it too late? It looks like you don't need a permit to go in at Stuart Lake but you do need one for Colchuck? Any ideas?
  8. Definitely a hottie! PDX girls represent!
  9. Nice work guys. See Billy, I knew you'd find someone to climb with! Marcus I'm glad you weren't too whipped from Crossfit!
  10. Holy crap lady calm down. Totally kidding. Yikes.
  11. All right, now we're back on track... and thanks for the offer Sherri, I would be honored to share a month with you!
  12. I figured it out. Muffy showed some skin and snaked my month. Well fine. I'll let you use this pic if I can have June back... otherwise, no dice!
  13. YAY I totaly love it HEY! Muffy stole my month! Sad!
  14. Oh damn Billy, you did-n't!!!

Suck it up, like they say "If it was easy, it'd be called "snowboarding"".
  18. This thread is making me depressed, I just turned down a sweet job in B-ham because the pay was really crappy... AAAGH i'm succumbing to the man!!!
  19. They've never been ok, IMHO. Not meaning to turn this into yet another "dog vs. no-dog" thread, but why would you drag your mut up there unless you plan on (a) keeping him on a leash AT ALL TIMES, (b) blue bag his crap, and © keep him from barking at all wild animals or other people up there. Seems few ppl w/dogs are considerate of others when I've seen them on the trails. Way to be unnecessarily aggro. In case you didn't notice the persons question was whether or not dogs are allowed legally or not. They weren't asking for your lame opinion about how dog owners are so rude. If you didn't want to turn the post into another stupid dog vs no dog post, then why did you bother posting?
  20. Nice to know cc.com was well represented at Smith this weekend. My partner and I and a couple friends were down as well, it was quite nice, especially the end of the day on Sunday....
  21. me me me! Whee! First time climbing outside in probably 4 months...
