I love my atom LT hoody. Perfect weight/warmth for active pursuits. As Dane said, a fleece would not fit well under it... I wear my r1 hoody and it is fantastic. Knowing arcteryx, they will "improve" this in a few seasons and mess it all up.

Fwiw... I, and friends I have sent to feathered friends have received nothing but fantastic customer service. It is refreshing to see a company that actually cares about the community they cater to. Obviously no one is perfect, and mistakes are made, but as a whole, I have found feathered friends to be a great resource to our community.

This is starting to look like a tgr thread. I too would like to have some answers from climb x. Just being from the pnw isn't enough for me to trust my life with them.

I have a line on some old silvretta 404's, so now am looking to get a pair of cheap skis to go with them. These will be used for ice climbing approaches... Obviously, lighter is better... but beggars can't be choosers. Oh, if you have anything in the 178-181 range... 95mm waist or narrower.. that would be great. (to fit my skins). Here is the kicker... looking to spend no more than $50 shipped, $25 local. (Seattle). I figured it is worth a shot.
