  2. We didn't take snowshoes...the only time they would have been useful was the slog out, as the snow got real soft as it warmed up on Saturday.
  3. Considering 4 screws are tied up in anchors, that leaves 6 screws for a pitch of climbing, which seemed reasonable to us...not sure why that's ridiculous??

  9. nice man, me an a friend just did that route 2 weekends ago and had a blast...we bivied down at the giant boulder and got a 7am start...think we topeed out around noon and back to the car at 5. that descent is a real slog with lots of slippery/loose fun...i imagine doing it in the rain and dark was good times indeed!
  10. Road is now open to vehicles all the way to Squire Creek Pass trailhead...no more bike/hike...

My roommate: "if you're sober(at vantage), you're doing something wrong" good quote indeed, and applicable to most situations, i would venture to reckon...way out is the way out, otter...

  16. We got a few sun breaks on Saturday, then fog/rain rolled in for the night and next morning...good to be out though!
  17. Trip: Cloven Roof - Straight Street Boogie Date: 2/5/2011 Trip Report: Headed up to Spring Mtn over the weekend to spend some time below the big cloven roof. Weather was prime and the company sublime... Good times! Approach Notes: About 0.8 miles longer with the washout.

  21. what up tyson?! yep, hit the water with the boyz again this week...another adventure-fest around the island ! gotta get me a watercraft soon! the barges are way fun...climbing around/jumping from them is super cool! and climbing on the buoy is icing on the cake!
