After the 3rd pitch you can climb 1 1/2 pitches of dirty, vegetated class 4 and walk off either left or right, both very bad and not recommended. Better to enjoy 3 long fun rapps down the 3 good pitches. my devil's club is now blooming but it's hard to tell, the flowers are so small. I discovered three baby rats under one plant, something must have happened to the mother. They were about 2 inches long with brown fur and very cute cuddled up together. I thought about adopting them but didn't want the responsibility of raising them.

With Alps-like 6000 ft relief directly above Darrington and enjoyable glacier climbing, we both thought this is a fabulous climb. 11 1/2 hours car to car.
