  1. Looking for anyone who is interested in going climbing. Just moved up here and the majority of the climbing seems to be done in the gym. Hoping to find someone who is game for a little fresh air!
  2. anyone going to be in Red Rocks right after Thanksgiving? Could use some people to climb with.
  3. Nah, you just love us 'cause we still talk to you after we've seen you "other" side!
  4. Suckbm, that was the best trip report ever. Thanks for a fun weekend, next time get your lazy ass out of bed a little earlier!
  5. I'd better be getting visits from people, and no skipping out because "The weather is good in Leavenworth!"
  6. Spring break, its what all the cool kids are doing. I'll meet you at the door with a ice cold beer and a pair of climbing shoes.

  8. Hey, anyone need a climbing partner in Silver City, New Mexico...?
  9. went up Avalanche Gulch during early early spring a few years ago, still lots of snow but once higher on the mountain it was fine. Since the Gulch was steep we decided to go up the ridge just to the right of it. Unfortunatly it was too windy to even stand up straight. Would have liked crampons, but didn't need a rope.
  10. You're a really energetic kisser. I liked that. Oh.. and your personality
  11. I noticed when you were trying to demonstrate on Gyselinck! Don't worry, he loved it. Fun times, fun times
  12. Olyclimber, I really liked it when you licked my shirt and the half hour conversation we had about "suckling"
  13. Gyselinck decided to give up climbing so he could booze more, he told me last night.
  14. Thought we heard voices all weekend, glad there was someone actually there. Gyselinck was starting to question his sanity.
  15. Bees Gyselinck, they were bees! Gyselinck also forgot to mention how on the way down the trail he lifted up his foot out in front of him, looked at it for a minute, and then smacked it REALLY hard with his trekking pole. Then looked around all embaressed to see if I had seen or not. Just a glutton for punishment eh?!
  16. Climb: Moles, Shrews, and other fuzzy things- Date of Climb: 9/24/2005 Trip Report: This weekend Gyselinck, my cousin, and I hiked up to the Rat Creek group to try our hand at a spot of “rock climbing.” While listening to Gyselinck telling us we were “almost there” for 3 hours, we were met by occasional rock fall caused by the herd of goats waiting for us to pee at Edwards Mesa. After stopping for some macaroni and finding enough muddy water to fill up our bottles, we headed over to the Duolith where. I spent 10 minutes pulling out grass from a dirty crack onto Gyselinck on the way up to the South summit. From the south summit we made our way easily down and across to the false summit where Gyselinck started his mission of collecting as much webbing as possible from every pitch throughout the day. Then onto the Shrew for a quick jog to the summit. Fun two-pitch climb where Gyselinck had to listen to me whine while he bravely sat at the belay. Next we headed over to the North Face of the Mole. Gyselinck led up 2 pitches of excellent crack followed by one full length pitch of heavy swearing. After cleaning the two pieces he placed on the last pitch, we reached a blocky ledge and scrambled to summit. Looking over at the mesa and seeing my cousin surrounded by goats, we decided to head down. After rapping the south face, getting the rope stuck, watching Gyselinck climb back up the south face, and rap down again, we hiked up to the mesa and back down Hook Creek.3 ½ hours after not finding the trail we made it, scratched up and bruised, back down to the car. Perfect weather the whole day, and fun climbing. Pity the winter is coming just as I feel I am getting in decent shape! Sorry no photos, Gyselinck was saving the extra space in his pack for webbing. Gear Notes: 0.4 - 4" Approach Notes: Hook Creek
  17. I could run you into the ground any day of the week, EVEN with a massive hangover
  18. As photogenic as I am, I think there are enough pictures of me for this trip, lets just keep all those others safely locked away, don't want to scare away the "normals"
  19. Gyselink, you forgot to mention how much you were whining the whole way up about not having brought any beer. When Deadbeat pulled out that 6 pack I thought you were going kiss his feet. That was the happiest I’ve seen you in months!
  20. The shoulder-stand has to be the best move I’ve seen someone make in the mountains, even better though, was when Gyselinck decided to stay on Deadbeat’s shoulders so he could “take a break” while checking out the route.
