  5. Get your gear ready for the wet season...and make it so fresh and so clean clean. Beer and raffle included, as usual!
  6. It's the show many of you have been waiting for: the fundraiser party for climbers, by climbers. For another year, Second Ascent and Vertical World Seattle are psyched to bring the 9th installment of the the Reel Rock Film as a fundraiser for the American Alpine Club! Showing on Saturday, November 8th at 8pm at Vertical World Seattle, we're rolling this show with a few thousand dollars of raffle prizes from our friends and local brands as well as regional reps from Arc'teryx, Outdoor Research, Patagonia, Five Ten, Metolius Climbing, La Sportiva, prAna, Mammut, Petzl, Osprey Packs, Exped, CiloGear, Deuter USA, and more. Our favorite brewery, Georgetown Brewing is once again, our libations sponsor - and if last years thirst proves anything, climbers love Georgetown...especially FREE beer. 100% of our profits will be donated to The American Alpine Club for their continuing efforts in keeping places like Hueco Tanks to the New River Gorge open to climbers of all disciplines and nature lovers alike. Check out their Cascade Section Facebook page at American Alpine Club - Cascade Section and give them a like! Tickets are now on sale at Second Ascent and Vertical World Seattle. Each year we sell out of tickets so be sure to get yours before they're gone!
