You can definately get them from Life Link but they want $70 each for them. I am trying an experiment and don't want to spend that much until I know if my plan works.

Hello folks, We just wanted to let everyone know that with the end of the summer comes a change in our ranger station hours. However, Self-Registration for climbing does not begin until October 1st. We wanted to let everyone know where to get permits until we switch over to self-registration. Paradise Old Station - WEEKANDS ONLY 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Paradise Jackson V.C. Daily 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Longmire WIC - Daily 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (until Sept 20th) Daily 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (beginning Sept 20th) White River WIC Daily 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 a.m. Wilkeson WIC - 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sun.-Wed. (until Sept 20th) 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Thu.-Sat. (until Sept 20th) 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily. (beginning Sept 20th) The most important message to get across is that the Paradise Old Station is not open on weekdays. If you want to get an early-morning start on weekdays you should plan to stop at one of the WICs or pick up your permit the day before your departure. We would like to save climbers the heartbreak and time delays of traveling up to Paradise in the morning only to find the Old Station closed and the JVC not open until 10 a.m. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 360-569-2211 x2314.
