  1. Wolf Rock Big Arch 5.7 Corner Route 3 Anchor Bolts W/ Brian Gilbert, August 2011
  2. Menagerie Wilderness Panorama Point - Blue Duck 4 Anchor Bolts W/ Steve Elder, October 2011 Panorama Point - More Bolts Than Balls 2 Anchor Bolts W/ Steve Elder & Bill Amos, October 2011 Chicken Rock - Rawhide 2 Anchor Bolts W/ Chris Fralick, 5/6/2012 Chicken Rock - Chicken Legs 2 Anchor Bolts W/ Chris Fralick, 5/6/2012 Hen Rock - Poached 2 Anchor Bolts W/ Chris Fralick, 5/6/2012 The chain anchor for Rawhide was pulled and replaced with normal bolts with no rings. To rappel climb over the summit to the Chicken Legs anchors and rappel. The tree anchor for Poached/Autum Reigns/South Crack etc. died so now there is a bolted anchor on the ledge 10' above the tree and to the right. A much better location and more convenient for top roping the routes below.
  3. Damn that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I live on 35th st and can't tell you how many times I've left tons and tons of shit sitting in my truck unlocked. Do you have renters insurance?
  4. Bummer, but ya like JoeMack says check Play-It-Again Sports, and any local pawn shops. My guess is who ever took it wouldn't go too far... Out of curiosity where in town do you live?
  5. I think its only worth a 1/4, not worth that much dude!!! So speaking of which where is mine, since I gave you my copy and all... baa
  6. Haha, wow! How did you find that killer web site? I'm surprised it hasn't been more hyped up by the man himself... Looks like he made that $1000 off Tim Olson, that or got a real fucking job. :lmao: :lmao: Shapp, I think its time we take a road trip there, looks like this is all we'll need right:
  7. Nice job Max, that is probably more pitches than I've climbed in like three years.
  8. IMO that pitch is certainly not just as moderate. Theres a couple of tricky moves 5.8ish near the beginning of the pitch and some decent run outs(even with retro bolting). The book makes it sound way easier and more friendly than I've ever found it to be. I know the first time I did it I was somewhat surprised. Maybe I'm a wuss tho.
  9. Place looks like a pile and a waste of gas money
  10. a Trip Report... Realllly?!?!?!!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!! :noway:
  11. a fine warmup for st peters (the dome that is, i doubt the pearly gates are in my future if the Shaved Men are correct ) hehe or the other way around, in my limited experience Shiprock is looser than the Dome. And there is actually fixed gear and bolts on the Dome... I don't even think you could aid on the Shiprock? I know the rock is super hard, but just insanely fractured, my friend tried to drill a bolt near the base a while ago (why I don't know) and it just destroyed the bit!
  12. Ya JoeMack, it is Wolf Rock. Like I said above I thought everyone knew what Wolf Rock is, so I thought plaidman was referring to 4:30-5:00 where Iron Mountain is. Flying weather sucks right now, but maybe we can meet up sometime this Spring/Summer. Usually about $50 per person per hour the engine is running with two people in the 172. I think we saw your tracks then heading down the West face of Iron Mountain. I'm always lookin for people to ski with in Corvallis, drop me a line sometime.
  13. Whats a corporate jet doing flying on a military training route?!?
  14. haha no secret unfortunately, i just like to not really read things before i reply. figured its no secret but most people don't know what iron mountain is and i guess figured he would have known what it was since it says in the youtoob description anyways
  15. Yeah Wayne, BillA and I tried a couple weeks ago but there where some rippen lenticulars over Hood so we stayed clear since I'm not the most hard core bush pilot ever. Will try next weather window and post up when I do!
  16. Tried acting like Scurlock while we where up there too... full size images in my gallery. Looks like some winter fun up there! All photos by Steve Elder.
  17. Don't dream, just do it! After this and last weeks dump all of Tombstone area was finally sitting pretty, this week should set it up rather nicely again for a little bit more fun. There where tracks up there all over Tombstone, but non on any of the stuff to the right. If you have two cars you can do a really nice tour there with a car shuttle. Starting up at Iron Mountain and working your way east with a car parked down at Lost Prairie CG hitting all that open terrain you can see in the video... the season aint over yet!
