  2. there seems to be a large base of spiteful, condescending, sullen 15 year olds on this website.. sort of makes it intolerable, a lot of the time.

Bkb, that was completely uncalled for. It isn't fair for you to compare all the sullen 15-year-olds out there to these assholes.

  3. All I see are a bunch of self-righteous moral police trying to enforce rules that don't actually exist. This is rock climbing. There are no strict rules. You're climbing at a sport crag, with bolts and huge streaks of chalk covering the rock. Unless you are climbing in an area with actual rules about these sorts of things, please don't take it upon yourself to force your ideals down others' throats.

  4. Thank god we have such fine young men as yourselves representing the climbing community. And I thought my group was obnoxious with my buddy who wouldn't stop smoking weed and spraying about his 'sick 5.9' exploits...

Just kidding, way to get after it. And I double stevetimetravlr's advice, beer for breakfast equals not getting the send.

  5. I'm heading to school in Pullman in a couple weeks and don't know any climbers there, but want to climb as much as possible. I lead sport up to 5.12, boulder up to v6/7, and am a fairly solid 5.10 trad climber trying to work my way into 5.11's. But really I am willing to follow just about anything you can lead. . I have a full rack, a car that mostly runs, a pad, and one 60m and two half ropes.

I am interested in afternoons at Granite Point or whatever other local area, full days at Spokane crags (or Vantage, or anywhere else within two or three hours), and weekends at City of Rocks or Smith or wherever other people are willing to drive to. I would really like to check out the limestone north of Spokane, and start bouldering more as I haven't done it much this season.

  6. Red, medium length quickdraw. Says "redpoint" on the tag I believe. Lost somewhere around Millennium Wall/ Hen House/ Corn Wall, or on the way back to parking area #3, or on the ground at said parking area, hard to say. If anyone finds it please pm me. Much appreciated.

  7. I'd like to take a day trip to exit 32/38 or index, or maybe a two day trip to leavenworth sometime towards the end of next week/weekend. Sport climbing I'm leading mostly 10's, and some 11's, but I'll try anything really. As far as trad climbing, I enjoy moderate (up to easy 10's, but mostly 8's and 9's) stuff. I'd be up for just about anything in leavenworth.

  8. I am interested, been climbing about a year now and looking for someone to hit up mostly sport climbs, perhaps some trad (easier lead swap, or you lead the hard pitches). Anyway I'm looking for someone to climb with solidly, I probably can climb 5.10c-d sport toprope, lead 5.10a-b right now, but looking to improve.

  9. I've been climbing for five or six years, but haven't had a chance to get out of the gym since last summer due to being a broke college student. Last time I went climbing I could lead 5.11 sport, 5.9-10 trad (depending on the route. I've only been trad climbing for a couple years). I'd like to get out to north bend a couple times, and up to Leavenworth soon too. I have a car, rack, rope, etc.

  10. I'm going to be in Leavenworth for a couple days for non-climbing related things. It would be nice to get a couple routes in while I'm there. Friday evening would be preferable. I'm down with whatever. Trad, sport, bouldering, doesn't matter. I have a solid rack and a rope. I wouldn't mind doing something in the shade. Canary perhaps? That's east-facing isn't it? Pm or comment and we'll set something up.
