  1. Upon a daring and successful completion this past Sunday the 23rd of the Big Tree route at 3 o'clock rock, and repelling at nightfall via 2nd pitch anchors on Cornicopia, an intrepid climber from our seasoned group deftly pulled rope ... with knot intact. Left hanging, the rope remains. Email me if you come across it. I'm confident it's owner will find a way to reward you. Thanks!
  2. Sky thats just me flapping my wings to clear the crevasse. Here's some more pics:
  3. Sky thats just me flapping my wings to clear the crevasse. Tony, awesome climb. Sarah, great job on Liberty Ridge. I hope someone finds your axe.
  4. Scurlock, thanks for the great pic, i'm a big fan of your shots. Lowell, I'm glad it didn't rip out either. We thought about digging a pit halfway up but ran out of sunlight. Actually, the wind effected snowpack varied considerably aross aspects and we payed close attention as we traveled. The slope was quite stable as we crossed the shrund, climbed it and skied it. And as for Dave hanging back ... i think its a smart and easy decision if you don't feel like sking it, for whatever reason.
  5. Nice report Sky. I was psyched to be getting the goods on Spider with you and Dave. Maybe i do need to get rid of work and become a lazy bastard ski mountaineer errant ... for the groupies sake. Anyhow Jonathan, the snowcave is below Kool-aid lake in a clump of trees but was almost covered by blowing snow as we were leaving camp. It's a nice one if you find it.
  6. Right on Sky and Ross ... good job on the ski!! I'm sure it was lovely. Pitchers on me for bringing back the jacket.
  7. If anyone finds a tan jacket let me know at ben@greenworksrealty.com. I'd love to get it back, especially with my cell phone in the pocket. I'm guessing a bush stole it on the trail along the river. Oh yeah ... keep an eye out for some sunglassess too. I've got many gold stars and more for the person who finds anything. Meganerd - Allyoucaneat ate it up! He growled through that wackage schwackage. Have fun accessing the ridgeline. If you can find the trail up to the ridge you'll save some time. Bring along a Kilo of the good stuff though to do you right!!
  8. Thanks Sam ... i've got a couple of short >30 second videos shot from the digital camera of Sky making turns down the couloir. When i figure out how to get them on my webpage i'll throw the link up here.
  9. The Bronx Bomber with visions filling his head.
  10. Dave this too could be you on your next trip to the Price. Turns on the glacier.
  11. That ski was sweeter than a Krispy Kreeme donut. Great sking with you Sky. Here are a few choice pics from Price.
