I know the feeling, two years ago I was sick the whole trip. at the crater i went straight to sleep dredding the trip down. Its a heck of alot better when youre feeling well. If this date is better give me a post. out

Got a climb up the emmons scheduled for July 17-19. Most of those i'll be with I dont know so might as well add another if your interested. This your first climb of Rainier?

Anyone besides me a fast food junkie? I was thinking of eating better with the thought that it will help my overall performance in the hills, does it help?

on the kautz route in mid june will we need extra ice tool and pro. do most of you hike around the cliff or repel on the decent.

we did hood last year and had a good time. I want to also hit baker. But we like Rainier cuz it kicks our butt

My buddies and i have been climbing for a few years and have a few summits of rainier under our belts. we have only done the DC and wants to get off the beaten path. Our first climb this year will be in Mid June. Any suggestions on a good route? We were thinking the finger or Gib ledge, too late in the season? Greatful for a suggestion out.
