There was a short and ill noted discussion on ammunition on the spray forum a while back. Blended ammunition technology and a 77 grain 5.56 hollowpoint. Do a search for Ben Thomas and it should show up. Also the M16 rile was replaced by 3 variations and then completely changed over for a shortened version known as the M4. The new systems are modular which allow for easy facilitating of optics, lights and essential cool guy gadgetry. The modern weapons were reported to be accurate out to 450M as is out of the box, but heavy barrel M4's with optics are typically used for interdiction as far out as 800m. There is also a .50 cal version known as Beowulf and a 7.62 version for familiarity and longer range. For high speed vehicle takedowns I recommend a short AK or an MP5K.

Stoney, I think that's clever and all. probably valid in some sense. However, the threat is very real, and cannot be so lightly discounted as to simply blame Bush and think it will go away. We are going to be conducting internicine warfare for years to come. Radical Islam is not a joke. My wife was telling me that legislation was passed which exempts those that make more than 450.00 a week from collecting overtime. Is this true? What a crock. Inflation continues to go up and everyone continues to make less. Also, if you register to vote in the state of Washington you basically cast a vote for whatever political affiliation you claim in your registration. If you cast a vote for even one person outside of your party your ballot is discarded? Is this a free country anymore? Was it ever?

All I can say for certain at this point is that the war is becoming increasingly politicized and I believe that to be a dangerous precendent. It's Ok for Arabs to blow up 5 Christian churches, but we'll be damned to political hell if we so much as put a scratch on their holy-moly Mosque. It's getting people killed and creating martyrs out of people who are criminal/murderers with blood on their hands.
