  1. Yep and I seem to remember you guys talking those up just a few years ago. God damn those double edged swords eh? At least I can admit that those deals are morally sickening and generally point out the large amount of corruption in both parties.

Yep and I seem to remember "you guys" not caring so much about those things a few years ago. Double edged swords, indeed.

  2. He's a socialist

    :lmao:

Good point. His economic team is rife with all those Chicago School socialists like Jason Furman and Austan Goolsbee.

  3. there are far too many things scary about this guy to be totally focused on this one thing.

Besides being a gay, Muslim terrorist, what else is there to be afraid of? Specifics please.

  4. I'm certain that the 3 quotes you list in your post constitute the entire body of theological, political, and social discourse that occured in that church over the past 20 years. I'm impressed by the depth of your research and the sophistication of your analysis. :crosseye:

  5. POUR THE BOOZE, LIGHT UP THE FIREWORKS, BURN DOWN SOME HOUSES, HELL YEAH!

America, Fuck Yeah!!! The 4th of July kicks ass more than all other holidays combined. God Bless America (and Boom City) :moondance:

  6. Did Bush pay off McCain's campaign debt (no strings attached of course).

A few minutes (all I have right now) on google didn't reveal anything. Do you know? I'm interested.

  7. I'm not saying that it was all rainbows and unicorns this year, but Obama certainly treated Clinton far better than Bush treated McCain, relatively speaking. I think we can agree that the Obama/Clinton and Bush/McCain hugs were both fairly disingenuous political stunts.

  8. The lefties love posting that one with McCain and Bush. This one is just as laughable.

Not really, when you consider that this year's DNC primary paled in comparison to the gutter politics Shrub & Rove employed against McCain in 2000, particularly in South Carolina.

    talk about partisan glasses! :grlaf:

Good point. My "partisan glasses" obviously made me overlook the allegations of fathering illegimiate children with prostitutes, drug addicted spouses, gay-baiting, etc. that happended during the DNC primary this year.

  10. I haven't seen any discussion of recent developments in the U.S.' relations with North Korea. The Bush Administration is being chastized from both ends - some conservatives discredit the developments as too little, while some liberals discredit the developments as too late. What are your thoughts?
