    Yep and I seem to remember you guys talking those up just a few years ago. God damn those double edged swords eh? At least I can admit that those deals are morally sickening and generally point out the large amount of corruption in both parties.

    I'm not saying that it was all rainbows and unicorns this year, but Obama certainly treated Clinton far better than Bush treated McCain, relatively speaking. I think we can agree that the Obama/Clinton and Bush/McCain hugs were both fairly disingenuous political stunts.

    Not really, when you consider that this year's DNC primary paled in comparison to the gutter politics Shrub & Rove employed against McCain in 2000, particularly in South Carolina.

    Good point. My "partisan glasses" obviously made me overlook the allegations of fathering illegimiate children with prostitutes, drug addicted spouses, gay-baiting, etc. that happended during the DNC primary this year.

    I haven't seen any discussion of recent developments in the U.S.' relations with North Korea. The Bush Administration is being chastized from both ends - some conservatives discredit the developments as too little, while some liberals discredit the developments as too late. What are your thoughts?
