  1. My main climbing partner moved to SLC, and I need someone for regular stone gardens sessions. I'm lead qualified and climb ~V3 / 5.10. Training should be fun, so don't be too serious. Mid-week evenings, or possibly mornings, and rainey weekends. Who wants to get fit for spring?

  2. Assuming no burn ban, what laws or reg's would be violated by partying there?

    Senate OKs bestiality ban

    The Associated Press

CC.comers accused of having sex with animals would face a felony charge under a measure approved Saturday by the Senate.

The bill passed on a 36-0 vote, with 13 lawmakers excused. It was prompted by a widely publicized Washington state case in which a man died of injuries suffered while having sex with a horse. The measure now goes to the House.

“It’s really a bill that will protect animals, who are innocent, by the fact that they can’t consent,” said Sen. Pam Roach, R-Auburn, the bill’s prime sponsor.

The measure would make bestiality a Class C felony, which is punishable by a maximum five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

  3. I use two draws w/ lockers on the rope ends for a TR anchor when there is a bolted station. I use a longer sling if the bolts are set up in such a way that I can't come reasonably close to equalizing w/ the draws.

  4. The Spot is the headlamp Dubya would own if he was a climber. thumbs_up.gif

No, he'd own the "Don't Tax But Spend XP" headlamp made by Haliburton and marketed by the Carlile Group. It only costs $45,000 per unit (illegal wiretap version is extra) and doesn't work at all. But that's okay because Blue State taxpayers would foot the bill.

It is unlawful for anyone to climb or be upon that certain rock or

boulder known as the "Wedgewood Rock" located within the public street

"OK... those without pockets on their shirts, stand to the left. Pocketed shirts on the right."

I think homey on the left is Herbert Kornfield from the Onion, sans 'stach.
