  1. Yeah, but they last for years...
  2. Yeah, when I did it before, I carried so much unneccesary crap it was amazing. Now I don't think I need much more than a day pack and food, since the trail's a freeway. I could probably keep the pack weight under 15-20 pounds and do it in trail running shoes instead of boots...
  3. I'm thinking of doing the Wonderland Trail again for the fifth time (it's been some years since I've done it), and I'm considering just using a couple of Polarguard coats (one WIld Things and one MontBell) along with a bivy bag and a sleeping pad and just skipping the sleeping bag. I also plan on leaving the stove, pots, etc. behind and just using cold food, and doing the whole thing in four days; five at the most. Any thoughts on this?
