  1. Yeah being vegetarian there was part of it. They don't even understand the concept. I think they think it means you like vegetables WITH your beef/pork/dog. Actually I didn't see dog on any menu. But maybe it doesn't get translated...
  2. I just lost 7 lbs in 5 days from the flu! Apparently hanging out in a hotel room in Korea and not eating does wonders for the waistline...because you really don't want kimchi and bulgogi when you are in that state--room service does no good.
  3. Do any of your neighbors remember what happened there? Or did everyone involved either get murdered or move away? btw, this is my 999th post.
  4. That's right. I am not in Information Technology. I am in Computer Science. Now where's the IT guy to tell me why my computer crashes when I open Windows Media Player? He's sitting on the golf course emailing his computer scientists in India making $3.50/hour.
  5. How come no one's nominated CC.com's celebrity correspondent, Mike G. (seen on left)?
  6. I have to older version of the XLT. I can't comment too much on the current design. I've had no bob problems at all. It actully climbs quite well. The only down side on mine was the 130mm travel fork is not adjustable. I found this a tad too much for XC. Were I to do it again I'd get an adjustable one. At 100mm of travel there is more weight on the front which is nice for going up hills. As for Jamis, then just tend to be rally good deals. You tend to get higher grade component that for the equivelent Specialized, Santa Cruz etc. As for the weight its not too bad. Also, the bike feels lighter than similar ones I've tried.
  7. Looks like they changed the specs in the last couple years. This is more like it. JAMIS
  8. Hey Ken, this is what Erik suggests (he forgot his password) He says "it's cushy but a bit lighter": http://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/bikes/07_bikes/dakarxlt.html
  9. Au contraire...the 80's are back! Bright yellow and skinny black pants are all the rage!

From CNN: Story Highlights• NEW: Climbers and dog are off the mountain • Rescuers say dog is doing better than humans • Rescuers say climbers were well equipped What was their dog doing up there in February??! And What does Fido's B*tch have to say about it??
  21. I wonder if she extended such sympathy to the people who bought her house in Boise? Did she lower the price for buyers who were good citizens, patrons of the arts, and "interesting, productive people"? Or did she take just take the highest bid and feel good about moking money in the real estate market? Also, seems like you should check out the housing prices and job market BEFORE you move to a city. At least if you are planning to live a comfortable life in a hip neighborhood like Ballard.
