These were me Father-In-Laws back in the old days. They look like they've hardly felt the kiss of a hammer; well, since they left the forge, anyway. We're cleaning house, and I figured these might find an honorable place as someone's bail anchors or fixed on the NE buttress of Jo'berg or something. Heavy old iron is what they're made out of, 3/16" thick at the hilt, about 3" long blades taper to a pointy end, probably forged on a big old trip hammer. Watch yer' fingers when you're using one of those, kids. A hefty quarter pound or so each.
