Descending the Cascadian and slogging all the way back around over Goat Pass and across the Stuart Glacier (at night most likely) is a heck of a long journey. That supposes you did the more common and direct Stuart Creek approach. 'Took me and TomTom about 23.5 hours back in the day. Maybe we just suck.

We're cleaning house, and I figured these might find an honorable place as someone's bail anchors or fixed on the NE buttress of Jo'berg or something. Heavy old iron is what they're made out of, 3/16" thick at the hilt, about 3" long blades taper to a pointy end, probably forged on a big old trip hammer. Yeah, transferring beer to open carry containers is quite easy. They even make screw caps that go on a standard PET soda or bottled water container which allow you to fill the open space with CO2 instead of air. Keeps 'em fresh for weeks. [edit: Or is that concealed carry? I get confused.]

It's not too hard to brew really good beer. Sanitization is important, and chlorine bleach is your friend. I found that the bottling process got old pretty quickly; more specifically, the messiness and dealing with all the sticky kitchen surfaces. A good solution is to go with a Cornelius Keg system. Quick and easy, low mess, and it lends itself really well to a kegerator setup. I eventually stopped brewing just because I was drinking too much beer. It's so easy to have a few tall ones after work which leaves me pretty much useless. And I don't need to be any fatter and stupider than I already am. Have fun though!

[edit: In response to KKK, above] Lies, damn lies, and statistics. Shall we argue about which figure is more significant? Either way, that same webiste (I am not vouching for the accuracy of one source, BTW) puts the US at #3 behind Switzerland and Austria. I'm really not interested in spending much more time going back and forth over this, but I do think that if you want to make a point, sticking to actual facts is appropriate. Oh, and we do spend too flipping much on Defense. Duh. And you forgot the pagetop snaffle.

If you fell on a doubled single rope and managed to have both strands take the fall, your impact forces would go way up. Much better to use a single strand w/ coils, or a doubled half (or even better-twin) rope.
