  1. Work on friday....must be tomorrow.
  2. Just add some superfunness to your day
  3. ID MK1 lite. best tent out there .
  4. I will continue to use "superfun" unabashedly. It explains everything so well...not much need for anything else really. It even makes for the perfect one word TR
  5. No, it's reading posts like this that is boring. Try having some super fun sometime...it's super cool
  6. Hey, who wants to go climb some cracks in the eastern WA sunshine? Vantage? Tieton? I'm game for wherever.
  7. small pro is still pro I certainly wouldn't call it shitty at all. There's pro wherever you need it and the placements all tend to be bomber. And the climbing is just super fun
  8. for some reason George and Martha has become the area "classic" 5.10 I think there are so many more that are way better. Corner Pockets, Air Guitar, Sensemilla, Crack Master Lambada, Bob Dylan, Elvis' Pharmacist...etc...
  9. Yeah Stevens Pass Motel is below and to the left of ROTC when looking up. There's a cool 11b right below ROTC. Starts in a cool slot, then exits steeply into thin hands and smeary feet. Super fun.
  10. Right on! We're heading down around the 6th or 7th, and should be in the Valley until about the 20th or so....look for you down there. There's going to be a huge WA posse down there.
  11. Tele is friggin rad, once you learn you will never go back. Learning to tele friggin sucks...plan on spending a lot of time face down in the snow, and falling in all kinds of new and exciting ways. Pick a week when the weather is bad, or go at night up to Snoqualmie and just make laps. Dont give up...eventually you'll get it. For starter gear, go for a softer boot, maybe like the new T-2 and go for shorter skis than you might otherwise normally ski. There's a ton of bindings out there these days. Do some research, because they all perform quite differently. Mostly, it comes down to how much adjustability you want in your system, and how "active" you want your binding to be. There's lot's of great info out there so I won't bore everyone with it here. Have fun!
  12. What's up Mark? When ya coming back down to Sea-Town? -Ross
  13. Don't need the #3. it protects fine the whole way. crux is the right leaning .75camalot sized crack. Have fun, it's an awesome crack.
  14. Did you try to google it....because if you had you would have found this: http://www.mountaineers.org/nwmj/07/issue4.html
  15. Yeah, good times at the PI....but come on...seriously, next time it's Dante's on Thursday....any other day of the week is ok to venture elsewhere, but $2 pitcher night is sacred.
  16. I had a pair of approach shoes resoled recently at Dave Page. The first day I wore them, they started to delaminate. By the end of the day, about half of the sole had peeled. I bought some cement, and glued them back together myself. Just one experience though, maybe one of his underlings did the work. Next time, I'll request that he does it.
  17. Probably looking to leave Seattle around 8ish.
  18. Who wants to get out and do some climbing out in the warm Vantage sunshine?
  19. Damn Porter, sorry to hear about this man. Get fixed up soon, and keep your spirits up. I'll drink an extra pitcher for ya at Dante's tonight.
