Ladies and Gents, let's give up a heartwarming round of "Happy Birthday" for our very own Mr. Norman Clyde!!

A few comments:
Any hydration system should fit easily and cleanly to a water filter. Try attaching the tube from the bag directly to the out port of the filter. It's by far the easiest way to get the agua in.
32 oz is a little small. If you go with the 70, you might drink more water. If it seems a little too big, you can always fill it only partway full....but you probably won't.
I also like the BigZip Platypus bags for their ease of cleaning, but have learned the hard way that you're better off never opening them in the backcountry because they are a pain to get closed again. The bite valve on this unit is prone to leaking, so be careful not to set anything on top of it. Even so, I like both of the ones I have.
I have a Platypus Roadrunner that I have when all I want to carry is the water bladder and maybe a sammich. It's a nice little piece, and I use it way more than I thought I would.
Once you use one of these things, you will wonder how you ever lived without one. At least that's what I found.

Sage.
My SO. Actually the pillow smells better, I think it somehow concentrates. I've had cats who like my dirty clothes better than they liked the actual me, maybe it's the same phenom.

Fortunately for me, Trask, you are, as usual, making absolutely no sense!
-
I find it intereesting that the men here are so obsessed with their anuses! It's very odd!

It's huge in there!

Whatever, Trask, it was information about the venue, take it or leave it. Like you ever show up anyway.
-
It is a lot like a piece of soup, Muffy.
and Trask, where did I say it was any concern of mine if the Kort Haus is smoky? Remember, work with the drugs.
-
What, it's hypocritical that the Kort Haus is smoky?
Man, you are dense like pound cake.
-
And whenever I've been there, very smoky!

Floyds blows goats in oh so many ways....
...having said that, it might be very convenient for me tomorrow night.

Another vote for Twisp. Or Mazama. Or Winthrop. That part of the state is sheer paradise IMO.

Sorry Peteypie, sometimes Mary has to go to werk. You'll only catch me in there between 11 and midinght this week, if at all.

Yes, matt, you have an excellent point. To wit: last summer I got a bunch of 775 down and made a couple of pillows for my bed. I ended up eviscerating a feather pillow and putting a few feathers in the down pillows for the same reason.
For what it's worth, I have heard from non-Marmot sources that Marmot does the 900 fill down. Pretty cool, but my 775 is hard enough to take care of that I don't know that I would want one.

I have nothing to add, as usual, but if there was a rock climbing forum, that would be neat.

"You hate me, don't you?"
--Cap'n Caveman, at a Pub Club, to my recently-arrived, late as usual, SO. Keep in mind that my SO neither visits this site, nor has ever, or since, had any contact with the quotee.

McCaw Hall stole my free time tonight. @#$!!! Freaking overtime.
Oh well, this will help me to take all of August off, $$$$. Guess that's almost half as good at a Pub Club where I got to pick the location. Hope the Gape Nation had fun without me.

Baffle material is not going to take a lot of abuse. I just open the dryer from time to time and unclump the clumps by hand. It does not matter how chaep or expensive the bag is, a torn baffle would be a bitch to repair.
