Lieberman's a loser. He ran with Gore on the purchase of Medicare benefits by 50- and 60-somethings and now he's threatening to filibuster. Ugh.
-
Yes, it is fully funded, just a matter of time.

To not get them in the future:
Bridgedale socks. They fit very well.
The right boots. Get them now.

I'm wearing some now that my therapist put on me for a case of tennis elbow. I'd like to get a roll (2" wide) so I can reapply between PT sessions. Where to buy it?

the athleticism is truly stunning.
Wow, no kidding. I've never seen it before--looks like a pretty insane workout.

This is just the kind of thing I feared we would see with Salazar's appointment.

Yeah, cry me a river, people. Free camping with any amenities is so 1997.
-
Porter, you do understand that money generated from timber sales goes into the General Fund, don't you?
-
The FS does that too, though...

It's five dollars people. And while Grasslands is not *long* on amenities, it has fire pits, tables, toilets, and all require some degree of upkeep.
BLM camping is not always free anyway--ever been to ID? Plus what is all of this about every change requiring a lengthy public process? I don't see a legal issue here, enlighten me.

There was a guy on NPR this morning talking about how "smarm" is destroying our ability to communicate because it tends to isolate us from each other and it blocks further discussion. Hence, I combine my witty rejoinder with an invitation: I'd sincerely like to see Fairweather show up at a cc.com social event some time.
Actually, I think it was "snark". Same diff, really, 'cep Smarm's a little creepier and snark's a little more sarcastic.
I'm really enjoying running into people i've lost touch with over they years, and unlike forums in general, people are generally nice to each other.
I have to agree with Matt that FW would probably not enjoy the benefits of FB--but hey, it's not for everyone.

Seriously, it's kinda fun catching up with ...everybody.

I highly recommend rehabbing in the pool. I've rehabbed several injuries that way, and post orthopedic surgery as well.

I was wondering the same thing.
Beating up and leaving for dead an XC skier? That's so f'ed up.

I joined a few days ago. Huge time-suck, but lots of fun. I'm registered under my real name--ping me if you're on there too.

The show is so big now that I'd hate for it to be 1x/year, that would make it even more ginormus. I'd like to see the people whho run OR be a little more selective about who they rent space to, as mentioned above, way too much "lifestyle" crap. Just the real thing, thanyouverymuch.
The fact that the show attendance is down a bit actually makes it a lot easier to get work done, you spend less time wallowing in huge crowds.
I'm fine with the show being in SLC, it's kind of a sucky town, but who cares? I'm so tired at the end of the day that grabbing a bite and falling into bed early's about all I have left.

Idaho's getting et up by those pine beetles. I won't be surprised if the White Clouds lose all of their trees eventually.

If I'm not mistaken...seems to me that getting everything wet, to lubricate things, will help. Helps to feed the cover a little bit, then pull the cover. Repeat. Should be able to get longer and longer cover sections fed as you do it, and you'll be done in a few minutes.
I remember trying it dry, and I got sooo frustrated. Let me know if this doesn't work for ya.
I found an older hydration setup in my freezer with a smaller diameter hose, got the whole thing wet in the sink, and a thrash and a half later, the sleeve is on there. I don't think I'll ever take it off of there now....

astroglide
Seriously? That would make a horrible mess.
I did not post my question in spray because it's a serious question, jackass.

Trying to get a neoprene sleeve onto the tube of my hydration sytem with zero success. I've tried putting baby powder on the tube, no luck with that.
Anyone know the best way to accomplish this? I'm headed to colder climes tomorrow and would like to be able to use the hydration system without the dang tube freezing up.
