  1. As Jay stated, I expect my crossover vote to be the end of modern society as we know it.
  2. Note bold above and below. I did not attend any caucus today, nor will I be a delegate to the Democratic (or Republican) convention. My vote breaks no laws. I am fine with being considered a Republican if it helps to get a losing candidate selected by the republicans. Ironic that the party of cheating cheaters and lying liars might attempt to ever take the moral high ground. You guys are funny!
  3. I am voting REPUBLICAN in the primary. My voter information and history are available online if you need further information on me and know where to look. Note that my marriage and name change shows a gap in voting history, if you're a stickler for such things. Since I was not involved in the caucuses and will only vote for one (republican) candidate in the primary, I encourage you to lodge your complaint. Since what I am doing is entirely legal, it will only waste your party's limited time and resources to pursue your frivolous claim. I love it when people like you waste resources of your party on this, so get busy.
  4. No, genius, you have to agree not to participate in the other party's nominating process in order to vote. For one election cycle only. Since I was unable to attend the caucuses, it's completely within my rights to vote for anyone from either party in the Primary. De oaf:
  5. The great thing about the semi-bogus primary system is that those of us who couldn't go caucus (hadda work!) have a second chance on Tuesday. Go to your primary and vote for Huckabee. Hey how do you think the Rs ended up with Ellen Craswell as their candidate for governor some years ago? I have a feeling I wasn't the only Democrat willing to "help" pick a candidate we could crush in the General.
  6. Can you genuises please reply in English? Not all of us are polyglots.
  7. Haha, yeah the eight years of peace and prosperity under Bill Clinton was tough on the American psyche. Great argument.
  8. BD has excellent Customer Service, you should see if they want to give you a new pair.

    Super Tuesday

Still a horse race for both parties. I think if the Rs put up McCain, he will beat H. Clinton but Obama could beat him. I think if the Rs put up Romney or Huckabee it's all going to come down to how many Evangelicals show up to vote. It's such a crap job at the moment I wonder why so may people ran, and I think it won't be the end of the world if we get another R president as the next four years at least are going to be about cleaning up the mess the previous administration is leaving behind.

    Super Tuesday

You mean only the people who choose to participate?
  11. Dayum, the last time I hung out with Graham in SLC we went to the movies and I think had dinner. Looks like I picked the wrong OR show to skip....!
  12. I didn't think he'd be with us all that long, he's at a completely different level. I worked a little show of E. European music up in the Recital Hall last year and had the chance to see this kid play to an audience of about 20 people. It was memorable, to say the least.
  13. 2, XC only. I am recovering from ankle surgery and can't put on real ski boots yet, but I'm enjoying learning to XC for now.
  14. Correct. Didn't think I needed to write that all out in longhand, but it appears I was mistaken.
  15. I get the impression most people are going to pay down debt with it, which wouldn't really stimulate the economy IMO.
  16. Prost is on Phinney Ridge. The place seats about 25 tops, so if there's a Pub Club there, you should hope for a low turnout--there simply is not room there for larger groups.
  17. I have a Giro that is just fine, but i have to say that unless I'm skiing with kids (who are generally expected to wear them by their parents) that I don't bother with it. Feck may have to take extra care not to hit his noggin, but for adults with normal noggins, it just seems like another piece of gear to haul around and keep track of to me.
  18. What about Zeek's on Phinney? I think they do cheep pizza pies on Wednesdays.
  19. As the originator of the wildly popular "Photos of Really Large Housecats" I am flattered that Archie liked it so much as to make her own version of it. I'm sure the cats also see it as a nice sort of homage.
  20. I have trouble skiing in flat light. Pink lenses seem to be the best color, and sticking close to the trees helps with overcoming the disorientation thing.
