  1. Kudos to kurt for leading that first gut wretching pitch and for excavating the belay cave. The second pitch went a bit better. as i led it out of the cave the first move was a bit akward but well protected. the ice was great on the second pitch, took pro well and the sticks were great. this is where the shower of spin drift began unfortunatly for me i had my glasses on and was making for diminished visibility.i ran out of screws so this time i had to do a bit of excavating on a small rock out croping to build an anchor took yellow metolious tcu , small nut and two small blades. the final ice pitch was fun and the spin drift constant. great climbing and great company thanks guys.
  2. punch bowl, upper trotski maybe , maybe upper zenith and 1st pitch of clock work orange, although as already noted the upper was coming down in hunks today very warm and windy conditions latley.
  3. Took a ride to banks lake this morning. good news is the deathcicles were actively falling bad news is so are most of the climbs. nothing really climbable except the punch bowl left or right side middle has two holes with running water, although i watched as huge deathcicles came crashing down not recommened. all other climbs were existent in some form or another but not necessarily climbable. it is pretty warm over here right now.
  4. Ill ask around about the climb because most of the climbs have been climbed in the past. as i have said before most have not come in climbable conditions in the past five years since i climbed it and one other down there. most have never touched down in the last 7 years, at least as far as i know.
  5. i live above those climbs, i have climbed that a couple of years ago although this is the best in 7 years. most of the ice never comes in enough to climb before it falls, due to its southern exposure. i was just down there today actually this evening. i believe that most of that stuff has been climbed in the past by locals when the weather used to be colder longer. most of the lines are fed by irrigation run off and each year they consistently try to form.
