  1. Looking for a retired climbing rope to use for hoisting slings for a small sailboat. Only need about 50' total and it'll be cut into smaller peices. For this use stretchy is good, which is why a smaller dia. climbing rope is ideal. I'm in Woodinville. Thanks
  2. I have 1 jumar and 1 gibbs, want a pair of jumars, for climbing sailboat masts not mountains. Thanks, ericrayl@verizon.net
  3. Go to http://seattle.craigslist.org/spo/36845300.html and get a whole tent for $75, I believe that's a westwind in the picture if my memory serves. Hope it's not sold. Good luck, Eric Rayl
  4. I've climbed the Coleman, and Skiid the Easton. I'd vote for the Easton, as someone said, it's fall line all the way, skiing right from your car if you time it right. When I did it we could drive to within about 1/2 mile of the TH. BTW we managed 7.5 hours car-car that day without really trying because the conditions were so perfect.
  5. I have a pair of 184 Rossignol Bandit L's to get out of my garage. They're well used but nothing wrong with them. Sidecut is 100/66/86. Mounted with Marker M48 bindings (Din 12) I can send pictures if desired. Local pickup only Thanks, Eric Rayl 425 482 1696 ericrayl@jps dot net Woodinville, WA
  6. Steve, I just had my wife try the boots on with just a very thin pair of socks, and I think there is hope for them fitting your wife. She is between a 9.5 and 10, but in length only, her feet are fairly low in the arches and VERY narrow. She said her toes were on the ends of the liners, the height was about right, and the width was a little wide for her feet. With normal heavyish skiing socks these may fit your wife just fine. Anyway, hope that info. helps. ER PS, if you send me your e-mail address I have a couple digi pics I can send you. I can't attach them here as they are too big.
  7. Skis with bindings-184 K2 El Camino skis (same as K2 Four of around '99-'00). Sidecut is 98-64-87. Bindings are Petzl/Sk'alp 8007, which have good release characteristics and are durable enough for lift served use. I've upgraded but wouldn't hesitate to tour on this stuff tomorrow (if there was snow). $90 Boots-Raichle Concordia, Mens 8.5. Little use and in very good condition, virtually zero sole wear and liners are excellent. $45 I hope that's cheap enough to get this stuff out of my garage, if not make an offer. E-mail or call with any questions. I can e-mail pictures. ericrayl@jps-dot-net 425 482 1696 eves and wknds. I'm in Woodinville
  8. Anyone have a good feel for when the Entiat River Road 5100 will be driveable to the end. I'm thinking a 3-4 day ski trip to Cardinal, Emerald, Saska, and Pinnacle mtns could be excellent in a month or so. Thanks, Eric Rayl
  9. I'm looking for some tele boots for my wife. Something like T-2's would be great, but I'm not too particular. 8.5 mens, 9.5 womens, 42 euro, 26.5 mondopoint. Thanks, Eric Rayl
