  1. From A website "Fritschi have developed the Diamir Freeride for those skiers wanting an even stronger more downhill orientated binding. Weighing slightly more at 2100 g with integrated brakes, the Freeride has a lift of 39 mm above the ski, a reinforced toepiece and release settings from 4-12 front and back. We recommend the Freeride for heavier skiers who will be skiing jumps and cliffs, or spending most time resort skiing with occasional touring.."
  2. Question I want to know is: What are they keeping in the budget? How do they weight what the money should be used for? Do they close the parks because they think people might come around and pay more taxes?
  3. so are you a jack of all trades. What kind of work do you do, have done, looking for?
  4. So know we are going to listen to the forecasters. No way! I'll give it a month and then mabye maybe not worry. Till then I will hope for the best. Think Freshiez lots and lots

  9. Yeah, I could see how that could be tough.
  10. Yeah, I'd like to think most peolple are in the same boat you are. It is a snob like statment. That is all I was alluding to. What ever you do, just like it. And let others do the same, whether your on one plank or two, freehealed or locked down. And bring on the FRESHIEZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!
  11. quote: Err. . .I mean randonne is french for can't tele. No, but tele is french/english/japanese/etc. for I am a ski snob.
  12. I have a vector, seems pretty accurate. The compass seemed to work fine as well, although when left uncalibrated it has drifted nearly 180 degrees off.
  13. I think this whole pay to read anothers trip reports sets a shity precident for other sites, even the web in general. For me it is more of a time killing while I am at my job to read peoples trip reports, then it is getting detailed info on routes. It also seems more like "just another personal web page" probably started for fun. I have friends who do this. Shit, it is all over the web. Thousands upon thousands of sites (mostly meaningless crap) that people are spending there so called "precious time and rescources". I think that is rediculous to say $800/month on photography and imaging when he is simply snapping pictures while on his climbs. It would be more resonable for me to buy a Beckey Guide, or others. I don't know scott, never bashed him, never experienced the muir on saturday thread, but I think it is shitty now that it is becoming somewhat of a drag to run his site he thinks people should pay to see his photos and read his trip reports. The Seattle Times website is free. Seems a lot more resources are going into something like a news site. You want money, write a book scott and pals!
  14. And I'm tired of hearing pussies bitch about what they do and do not like. Get over it. Bring up more climbing topics so we don't have to talk of FRESHIEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!

  21. Going to be in Tonasket this weekend. Barter Fair. Plan on climbing for a few days afterwards. Will probably hit up Penticton. But, any ideas, info, on places to climb in the northeast corner of washington could very well change this. I'm a five.10 and under climber. Let me know, thanks in advance.
