  1. Are we talking about the same route? Are we talking about a bolted crack at index, or at smith? I was talking about Index.
  2. "Group think" mentality is what were talking about here. Dont get me wrong Ive toally clipped every bolt Ive ever seen at Index. Stuff there seems to get bolted when nobody's looking or something. Look what happened on Centerfold. I thoght we were goin ta see a hangin' skull Ask DC and I bet he could give us the skinny on the BCB bolts. I heard that it might be Greg Childs. That just what I heard, not trying to start some gossip or anything.
  3. That was nice Darin. You never told me bout the bone cairn. I think that climbers are some of the only people who regularly honor the final resting place of these souls. Just the fact that we are talking about it right now keeps the memories alive, thus honoring the dead.
  4. Ive climbed it twice, and one time there were five people who climbed it that day, so thats seven last year plus your three makes 10. Now can we chop the bolts on the crack???? The other bolts up higher arent essential but that would be a pretty bold lead. Blind gear placements with super pump and a wee bit of exposure at the top.
  5. Concerning Index, Angora Grotto and Gorilla crack are bad but what about the Black Cat Bone? Frikin splitter locks with bolts.
  6. Yeah, the Black Hills of South Dakota come to mind. Crazy vibes there too.
  7. I definitely agree with the fact that it is a final resting place for 62 souls. I spent the night up there and was overwhelmed with a very peaceful and auspicious feeling. I had lucid dreams af these little lights floating all around me, like being in the middle of some Hubble telescope photo. There are places in the world that possess a unique personality all to themselves, then there are some that possess a strong energy, something that stays with you. Slesse has left its mark on me.
  8. Damn! Between A-boy and Frosty I got no good jems of my own. Bastards- hoggin up all the good climbs!! Bunch of sick days in Index for sure Epic time on the Salathe Squamish was good WA pass mmmhuuuuh More alpine soon Thanks for the good times THUMP THUMP CHUMPS!
  9. What about psycopath to hyperspace? Not cool enough for your list Frosty? Name Dropper. Just kidding, mabye I will get to my list after I quit studying for this test if I can remember any of the shit I climbed this year.
  10. WOOOT WOOOT Nice Daffy!
  11. There was definatly two or three seperate bursts of lightning on Saturdy night here in Bellingham. I saw the flashes but did not hear the thunder b/c it was raining so hard. My living room was illuminted with the unmistakable burst of blue light two or three times while we were watching Serpico. NO SNOW

  16. I tour with a guy who posts on here regularly. He rides on dynafits and they pop off in tour mode ALL THE TIME. fuck that is all I can say.
  17. Yeah i dont set mine above 9 either since they tore my meniscus 3 years ago when they didnt release laterally. Early season a buried root or tree snagged my downhill ski at the bottom of a turn. I think that they need to come up with an industry standard to test those things like they test alpine bindings for proper release at the ski shop when you get new bindings mounted. But for committing lines its nice to crank em down all the way. IMHO FWIW Mowich Face
  18. Yah, that was my first time up snow creek wall also, good times. It is a trick, to stay out of the pressure chamber that is...
  19. OOOOHHHH its a SECRET I get it! Keep the crowds down, real hush hush. maybe maybe not
