I hear the JMT calling your name. When are you going to try for a record?

  4. [TR] Mt. Hood - Leuthold's 2/18/2010

How's the wind up there guys?
  5. Mount Hood Conditions

@Mountain_Shots Great captures from the South Side. Nicest I've seen in a while.
  6. This is pretty neat: http://www.xrez.com/divingboard_giga.html It's from this project I believe: http://xrez.com/yose_proj/Yose_index.html
  7. Elliot Glacier conditions??

Can't vouch for the Elliot but I bumped into some climbers last weekend who were going to play on the Coe.
  8. mount hood - cooper spur approach

Snowshoes were helpful sunday. Saw maybe 3 other parties and they all wished they had brought some. Decent snow in the shade but once you're out of the trees it was soft. Much softer above 6k. Nice standing glissade conditions above that.
  9. mount hood - cooper spur approach

I really should get a GPS. That was me on summitpost. There is a fork in the road where to the left a gate blocks you from the resort I suppose. Follow the road to the right for maybe a mile to a small parking lot. A trail marked 'ski trail' leads out of this lot, I believe the sign said 2.5 miles, to cloud cap I presume.
