  1. Kokanee and sockeye happend to need a lake to complete their life cycle (don't get picky with me as there are a few rare cases of riverine sockeye). The Cedar River did not historically flow into lake washington and could not have supported a kokanee or sockey stock anyway (see below).

Sockeye don't dude. What kinda fisheries expert are you? Kokanee are lake locked sockeyes and yes they need a stream to breed.

Oops, I ment kokanee and sockeye were introduced from Baker Lake and Lake Whatcom stocks.

These aren't the fish I was talking about. These were old native runs that have come back after they were declared "extinct."

Chum tastes like shit even if you catch it in the ocean.

  2. Person A can squat 350 lbs once (their max).

Person B can squat 150 lbs once (their max).

Person A can therefore do more repetitions than person b at say 50 lbs.

    Not necessarily

The guy lifting 350 is likely doing hypertrophy training and would tired more quickly than a guy who was well conditioned and could only lift say 200.

  3. the only reason Gary is doing anything to mend his relationship with any of his customers is not because he all of the sudden cares what you think, or wants to improve your experience. Competition is on its way. It will be here in a few months, and his movements are defensive. He knows we're coming.

  4. I'd say put on all the lean muscle mass you can.

That's the ticket. What kinda B.F. are we talking about here?

cause every lb of fat is another one you could be carying up the mountain in your pack.

  5. it lies, i see fat all over but then again it could just be my own fucked up self image

did you fuck up your height or something? at 5% you shouldn't see any fat at all. I am 7% now and I still can't see any on me whatsoever.

  6. Did you read them? They are PPP as well.

so what? shitty boss; leave. bad job market simplt means that you can't get the wage you want for the job you want. you can find a job if you want one. just because you don't like the wage/job and think you are too good for it doesn't mean its not there.

I suggest that people in this position either shut up about it or do something about it.

yelrotflmao.gif That's a motherfucking funny thing to say coming from a 20something college student. You've had exactly how many professional jobs  yelrotflmao.gif iain's right about you

Hmmm part ownership in a fly fishing lodge. I think I put in 2.5 times the amount of hours you are complaining about. I think you should look into the background of those you criticize ace. wave.gif

  7. Salaried, high-paid employees work longer hours - of their own accord. These people are often the most motivated to excel.

Having worked at an employer that mandated 50hr weeks, bullshit.

Mmmmm yeah. I'm gonna have to ask you to work on Saturday.

To this, you respond "fuck you." wave.gif

And they fired several people who did (including a manager who refused to ask it of his employees). Several people left. In the middle of a bad job market finding new employment isn't easy.

Scott - your statistics are exchange rate based, denominated in US $. Mine are at PPP, and as such less reflect the vagaries of monetary policy.

  8. I like MREs (meals ready to eat). They are especially useful in that they come with their own heating element and will cook themselves without a stove-- just add water! The new ones are much tastier than the early 90s versions.

I remember MRE days. You know that some of those have like 3,800 calories n them!?! thumbs_up.gif

    Scott-

You can't have statistics for a year that isn't complete. You don't post any sources, so I'm assuming you make up your data.
