  1. Is anyone heading over from capitol hill with room for a rider?
  2. The first pub club I went to was at the Park Pub. Capt. Caveman was in his usual form and I met Jon, Dwayner and many other pub club Regulars.
  3. ...was good to see Kurt there. We didn't really chat much but the main reason I showed was to see Kurt back. Also was good to meet crazy jizzy and the real JZ.
  4. filmed onsite in Rabun county Georgia and on the Chatooga River which forms the border between Georgia and South Carolina. linky

  8. My only experience with being caught in an avalanche was on the east face of Mt Washington, in the Olympic Range. I fought like hell to stay on top; but then rolled my body sideways to get to the shallower slower moving edge of the avalache path.
  9. many years ago I saw an old duffer walking the trail up near Robin Lakes, carrying an old box camera. I suspected it was Harvey Manning; and in fact it was, though he seemed reluctant to admit it.
  10. MAP Pacific Inn Pub is just east of Freemont and adjacent to the Burke-Gillman trail.

  14. I came down off of climbing the north face of Index to find my drivers side window smashed in at the Lake Serene trailhead. There was nothing in the car to take, so it was just an instance of malicious vandalism. Before I noticed the broken glass, I was having trouble finding my key cos they had used the rock I had hidden my key under to smash the window with. The irony is that the key was still laying where I had left it, just didn't have a rock there to mark the location.
  15. I believe the #4 remained flat when the larger sizes were made with a curve. I have a flat #4 wired chouinard stopper that I bought in the mid or late 80's.
  16. I wish you well Kurt; hang in there.

My wool knickers wore our long ago; isn't 60 the 'new' middle age?
