LA SPORTIVA SPANTIK BOOTS Size 44 $350
These boots are in great condition showing only minor cosmetic scuffs. The heel and toe rands are in perfect shape, the soles appear in new condition. These boots look brand new and have tons of life left. Seams have been reinforced with seam-grip.
LA SPORTIVA MYTHOS SHOES Size 39.5 $35
Used. These have a fresh resole on them so there is a lot of life left on the soles. I reinforced the seams with seam grip so the shoes are in fantastic condition.
SCARPA CRUS APPROACH SHOES Size 44 $50
I used these for one day only and just for a quick approach. These are just too big for my foot and I can’t return them used. These are in perfect shape, I’m just hoping to recoup some of my losses so I can buy the correct size. This is a rad shoe.

Used. There is some wear on the top (doral) side of the shoe but the soles are in great shape with about six days on the sole.

I wish I did own stock in Seam Grip because it is the greatest invention since duct tape, which of course was the greatest thing since the wheel.
Only, getting rid of the cold weather stuff to replace it with newer and more expensive cold weather gear!

I never had any wood break on my wall. I did however break a lot of purchased "drytooling" holds.

Stone Gardens makes a bunch of the holds out of simple squares of plywood, works great.
x2. I got the most used out of pieces of 4x4s that I drilled in with a 3/8 bit to make hooks into. You can easily drill hooks on every side of a piece of 4x4 to tackle different movements. I drilled some inverted (to make stein-pulls) and put a piece of carpet down against the base of the hold to protect the wall.
I hear door hinges work very well too. Cheap, durable, and they train accuracy in placement.

Can you clarify if Adrenalepherine tackles the hanger on the left or the right? Am I correct in thinking Hate Pony climbs ice not visible to the left of the left hanger and rejoins the main flow above the hanger?

These boots are in immaculate, like-new condition, and have been used for just five days. I reinforced all the seams with seam-grip. I can vouch that these boots can climb anything, but I am simply not getting enough use out of them to keep them in my closet for another season.

From what I'm told it sounds like the new ice pick might even the playing field between the nomic and the fusion. It seems funny that neither company has actually been able to come up with a tool that has everything you'd want (decent ice and mixed performance, dedicated attachment point, hammer). I don't think I would trade my nomics for a fusion and new ice pick, but then again I probably wouldn't sell fusions to get nomics given the new ice pick.

Apparently BD came out with a new version of the Fusion pick? Supposedly they have dropped the pick angle to increase performance on ice. Anyone have experience with these? Is there a noticeable improvement on ice? Does that change how they drytool?

I use some thin bungee material (black ~3mm from REI). I get tons of use out of it and replace it maybe once a year.

Wasn't the first free ascent done as a free solo? If I recall, the first ascent was with pieces of sawed-off pipe as protection, hence the name?
