  1. I've only had this bike for 2 months and only ridden it about 300 miles. Just not into cycling like I thought I would be. These bikes are excellent quality! It has a cycling computer(professionally installed) but otherwise it is stock. You can go to feltracing.com to see the specs. Total price w/computer was $1050.00 My price is $800
  2. The time of year that I took them was July when there's a billion people and there's no question about route finding. I understand and respect your opinion though don't get me wrong. These were not dumb or unsafe people, one was an ER physician and the other was a paramedic. I could see that if I didn't know these 2 very well and didn't spend time with them beforehand it could've been disasterous.
  3. The only thing I wasn't going to bring was the rope, hoping to hop on with someone but I guess I can bring one. Direct would be fine too, I'm down for anything.
  4. I took two people up last year who had never been up and I plan to do the same this year. It was fun, everybody was safe, and it was succesful. I did spend a day going over everything with them and made sure that they could do every part efficiently, without help or coaching.
  5. Nice! I hope to do the same sometime soon. Any advice?
  6. Thank you for the info, hope somebody will be kind enough to let me join them.
  7. UBB12-ML-327684-ML- Moved to climbing partners.
  8. I'm going to be up at Muir friday with a friend who isn't interested in trying to summit. Anybody plan to be there and attempting a summit friday night please let me know. I've summited 3 times all from the DC, and I'd like to try the Gib Ledge. And since I'm unfamiliar with this route, is it something that could be soloed safely? Thanks for any info.
  9. I must be one of the last people on Earth that doesn't have a digital camera, so no pictures. The car is very clean inside and out, it has one scratch (somebody keyed it)on the driver's side. The paint otherwise is in great shape and the interior is surprisingly clean for the age. No rust at all either. It has A/C, CD, and it's a 5-speed with 4WD. I can work on finding a digital camera if you're truly interested. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks.
  10. I am in the market for a nice road bike, if somebody has a Trek, Softride, Specialized, etc. I would be willing to trade as well.
  11. 1987 Subaru, 194,xxx miles, runs good and it's very clean. This is my winter commuter from Spokane to Moses Lake, it's very dependable. I just put about $300 into it for a tune up and exhaust. $1500 (I need more gear!)
  12. Has anybody been there recently or know what the conditions are? Don't want to waste a trip this weekend.
  13. I'll give you $250 for the bag
  14. I'll take the jacket. PM e-mail or call.
  15. if the jacket (north face) is in pretty good shape I'll take it. Are there any tears?
  16. I'm not sure what it is, I've never seen another one. It's as close to new as you can get though. I bought it as part of an estate, I've never used it. The color isn't that bad but I'm not much of a light blue fan. Thanks for the tip on neice.com.
  17. We were out at Banks all day. I had two people who had never climbed before so we tr'd Trotsky's Folly which was good, but I was able to watch the ice fall above the punch bowl all day. There is one that is got to be getting close to 80 feet long. A couple went up to do Trotsky's Revenge and decided against it rather quickly when a large piece broke off while they were standing at the base. It's too bad because the punch bowl looks to be better now than this last weekend.
  18. I have a one piece patagonia climbing suit if anybody is interested. It's as close to brand new as you can get, only used 3-4 times. Hooded, with inner suspenders, several outside as well as inside pockets. This is a medium, and will fit a slender person up to 5'11" really well. It's 2 shades of blue, lighter blue being the dominant color. I don't have a digital camera so no pictures, but whoever gets it will not be disappointed. I only want $75, possible trade. Iceclimbguy@hotmail.com or PM
  19. I'd like to know how Salt and Pepper was tr'd. I'll be going back tomorrow so I can post when I get back how it was. It was great on Sunday and it hasn't warmed up too much so I'd bet it's even better now with the little bit warmer temps. Ice was a bit brittle at -10. For anybody in Spokane Indian Canyon falls is great, but I'd hurry.
  20. I'm not unemployed but I have a lot of time off, and I know where most of the ice is in central Washington, but I'm only 24 so I guess I'm out. I am looking for someone interested in going down to Ouray in February though.
  21. I also have a Patagonia, size medium, it's blue. If you're interested let me know. It's not doing me any good. I'll give it to you for cheap, it's in fantastic shape.
  22. Had a lot of fun at the punch bowl today, thanks Paul. It was great to get out and swing. By this next weekend it should be great.
  23. Finally bought a pair of Quarks and would like to sell these to help with the cost. One adze, one hammer (fixed), great shape. Used 3 years. $100 for both o.b.o Sorry no digital camera to take a picture. PM or e-mail at iceclimbguy@hotmail.com Thanks! My apologies, originally listed as axars, I was too excited about my new ones to remember what these were.
