Trip Report:
We backpacked to Lake Helen on Saturday 6/7/08. On Sunday, 6/8/08, we got an early start and headed up from Lake Helen going to the right of the Heart and took the most direct chute through Red Banks (just a bit icy). We were blessed with a beautiful summit day and were on the summit from about 9:30 to 10:00 am before heading down. The last storms helped a bit, but it looks like the end of the season out there.
